How is the intake drone/noise with the Donaldson air filter? I'm not impressed with the S&B 6.5 intake I put on, granted it is better than the stock N/A 6.2 drone but still gets annoying.
Yeah it is right next to the glow plug solenoid. Or run it from the + of the first battery (check for it to have 12v). And something like this is what you’ll have to do for wiring the controller.

I second what cucvrus has said on changing the brake cables. I never noticed any issues on my m1008 with the parking brake releasing but upon disassembly the cables were still pretty stiff. And this is on an m1008 that had 0 rust. New cables made big improvement.

LMC sells a "diesel" gauge cluster for our trucks. I can't say on sender compatibility to what you have but the cluster comes with the oil and temp senders that could be easily swapped. The LMC cluster also has a tach so you should be able to get that working as well.

This is out of the 84/85 civilian truck brochure, even for the 6.2 diesel it shows the NP205 for the K30. I fully agree that the NP208 is more than capable of handling the power the 6.2 puts out but just wondering why they chose to make the M1008s differently.
