    Bleeding brake cylinders on M151A1

Don't forget to swap out the winter air in your tires for summer air.

    Bleeding brake cylinders on M151A1

You got some bad info. Easiest way is to have someone help you and bleed the brakes. Start with the wheel cylinder farthest from the master cylinder and work your way up. Mark

    Two Stars of WWII

I had a chance to work on one many years ago along with a Corsair owned by the same guy. I was very humbled and grateful. Mark

    Nightmare for a noob…….

If leaking oil at the air filter it could be a transmission fluid leak due to a vampire leak . Check your tranny fuild kevel. Check to see if the fluid in the air filter housing is red tranny fluid. If so it would explain a number of issues. Mark

I might be a little crazy – 4,000 mile M1079 recovery Illinois to Alaska

You have more than your fair share of testicular fortitude for such an ambitious journey with an untested military truck. In my mind it would fall under the proposal of a friend that tells you "I'm taking up wing suit flying, what do you think?" In any event, I salute you Sir. Mark

I had Plymouth Rock for the M998 and Geico for my other cars and motorcycle but Geico doubled my cost from last year with no changes from me so I dropped them fast. I went with Progressive for my reg stuff and Hagerty for my M998 and 93 Mercury Cougar show car and combined for 900 bucks for...

    My Dmax EGTs

Yeah 1400 for a bit of time is rolling the dice. What's the max RPMs on the Duramax? My son has a 2003 5.9 and he tries to keep it under 3200 RPMs but it will obviously go higher. Mark

    Glow Plug Replacement

I loved the old two stroke Detroits. Easy to work on, made good power and were easy as hell to work on. The 4-53T was compact made good power and the weight and height reasonable. Mark Don't get me going on the POS 5.7 diesels. I have some experience with them and you have to wonder what...

    Glow Plug Replacement

This is why it's a must use never seize on the treads on the new glow plugs to help prevent this issue. This system is such a bad design and causes uncontrollable cursing for all who have to deal with them. Why couldn't they have used a grate system like on the Cummins. Just dumb. Mark
