Prime the fuel system. Call me Colt put out a nice Youtube video on it. good chance the meterpump/injector pump could be stuck. its 50/50. Other than that fuel, oil and let it run
I do not think a Generlink is going to work with this Generator as this is can pull more than 10000 watts. Although the Generlink is rated at 40 amps might want to do more research. I use a Breaker interlock. Cheaper and Generlinks are not allowed by my utility
My 2 cents find a new primary fuel pump for a spare as the old square ones quit frequently. E8131 rock auto not a direct replacement but with some hose will work Next make sure the coolant is topped off as i see nothing in the over flow bottle. Might be a good time to flush and change it out...
I replace the lines on all the sets i work on and sell with a blue fuel line that is see through.

Change your fuel lines, and your rubber plugs in the bottom of the tank. easy components to get. Looks like the spark arrester off the end of the exhaust is missing, fun little units, just picked up another one today as well as a 501a.
Has anyone used a universal wheel kit or created their own transport cart for the 531/501. i want to use the 501 as my mobile charging unit and at 150 pounds i would rather not move it around with equipment just wheel up to the generator or truck that needs juice.
GPS will get you there but do not expect a big sign or lights and flashing arrows. all the millitary stuff is behind the building and a fenced lot. there was 1 maybe 4x4 sign on the side of the building.
i went personally last year and it was easy. Its a tow yard. nice guy to deal with. very large Wheel loader loaded my gensets on trailers onto my trailer. I sent a driver a few months ago and he had no problems picking up. no ramp to load with, but i would recommend calling ahead to give...
If you arc gouge that will be a great machine and serve you well, and for occasional power outages i wouldnt worry too much about fuel consumption. On the other hand if you don't weld much or arc Gouge the computer boards get pretty expensive on that miller machine if its just going to sit around.
Anyone had experience getting things out of the warehouse location since YRC went out of business let me know. Who are you using as i know before the appointments were a long way out to get scheduled prior hence why i used YRC all the time.
