Yeah. Glowplugs working like they should so far as I can tell.
And this incident happened when the truck was at full operating temp. Fan had been kicking on and off.
I've got about 300 trouble free miles on the M998 since the sock clogged. New lift pump, new filter, everything is clean.
I drove it about 60 miles yesterday. 30 miles out, running errands, ate dinner and then came home. On the way back, it was running just fine. Fan cycling on and off like it...
I saw no reason not to go this route. 24V charger hardwired into the back of the slave port.
I've done several of these on various pieces of equipment and haven't seen any imbalances on charging.
Other 4x4s I've flat towed have specified t case in neutral and transmission in park. My 6spd manual Ram specifies tcase in neutral and transmission in gear.
Perhaps something turns due to parasitic drag in the M998 due to the lack of Park.
