M35a2 Super Singles Difference & Installation

My concern is that they could rub the bolt head on the trunion cap. Elsewhere, not so much.

    Mileage On Humvees

Because the odometer in the truck now is very likely not the one the truck originally had.

    53” tires

Aren't they marked on the sidewalls?

    Help ID Military Trailer M105?

Looks like early variant M105A2. Air actuated brakes. Appropriate to tow behind an M35A2. I tow them with a pickup truck, and I have even towed them with a jeep wrangler. (Not recommended)

    Gasket makers

I did in 2019. No issues since. I've put maybe 15k miles on it in a mixture of sustained interstate road trips and very tame off roading. Yeah, I'm a sample size of one. Take that fwiw.

KS 10kW auxiliary power unit for Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicles. 51 hours

I'm contemplating removing the generator and hooking one up to a large air compressor-

    KS MRAP fuel tanks NOS

I'm going to build a cage around one of them and use it as a transfer tank.

MEP802 master switch small copper part.

Ok, it's back in the machine and the machine is now fully operational.

MEP802 master switch small copper part.

Thank you. I dislike displaying my ignorance. I'm a nurse and a linguist, not an electrician. It looks like this was the 4/8 jumper.

MEP802 master switch small copper part.

I tried that. It isn't immediately evident. Edit - I was looking here -

MEP802 master switch small copper part.

I've got an 802 with a bad master switch. (Tests bad. Power to #6, but nothing to #7 when in the crank position.) I was pulling a known good switch off another machine. In so doing, I dropped a small copper piece out of the good switch (pictured on the floor next to it). I can't figure out...

M931a2. Wheel locks up and clunking with binding

Kind of sort of. About halfway between Heber and Holbrook.

    It's alive!!!

I did mine with RTV in 2019. No issues yet.

    Tire fail-- typical kind??

I've had two of them fail like you described, and a handful just explode with no warning. All of them had plenty of tread and no cracks, old date codes.

    M989 vs M989a1

It'll follow the HEMTT just fine in the forward direction. I dont think you’ll have issues with it hitting the bed on a HEMTT either.I think you're going to have extreme difficulty backing it in anything other than a straight line. I spent 3 hours with my pickup truck backing one into the...

M936 Rear winch shear pin options

When I broke my shear pin on my wrecker, @M35A2-AZ was gracious enough to send me one exactly like the one he pictured. I ordered spares that are like the one I pictured. The cutouts on the shank are in the same position. I'm presuming the difference in the shape of the head is merely a...

    Drash generators

The cheapest path to a cable is to buy one of the surplus ones, and yes I'm aware they're $550-$1300. There's one in California on ebay that's priced far below value, but the guy won't ship it. The plugs themselves are $250-$400. It's been 2018 since I priced them. And then you'll need 5...

    M989 vs M989a1

I've attempted to back them with an M35A2, an M925, and my 1ton pickup truck. The least difficult method was to connect it to the front bumper of my pickup. It's still borderline impossible. Pinning the draw bar only helps when you can slide the front wheels and when you're going in a...
