Absolutely, There are a lot of schools of thought on the speed/ pressure school. I run 70-80 all day long on my tires, heres the thing: 1 they must be the speed rated tires, and 2. They need to be NEW. dont try it with worn tires that have been sitting on a parked truck in a depot for 5 years...
Aernan, The DVR is record-able on a huge MB chip.. makes it easy to transfer images of endless off roading.. lol.
For online viewing, I dont believe you can access the video feed .. without hacking the system. For external off site monitoring, I've used REVO Wireless cameras, they work...
Side note, of course all your air lines, and brass fittings should be DOT certified.. their is differences in quality and fit. safety safety safety...
The air lines that you have to snake through the heater box to get to the drivers area needs to be protected, and shielded from nicks/cuts in...
Thanks FMTV sales, you guys rock, (I'm looking at your Caimen axle chunks on E as I type...) You guys have a fantastic AC kit FYI for anyone looking, a COMPLETE set.
I LOVE Montana, went to college there, wheeled all over the Bob Marshall wilderness, and Steam boat MT. Love to come back soon.
Aernan, BEST mod ever, heated electric, Freightliner stuff..... HOWEVER, the side metal on the doors are TOO light to handle the heavy mirrors, they will flop around.
I heavily modified the interior of the door, (stiffening and side support, and welded) to make the mirrors solid. A big pain.
yes sir.. 5 cam system, all DVR recordable, with audio and great night vision. also, 2 entrance audio/visual door entry monitors.....
you know, for that one guy that knocks on the door at 1 am wanting you to move 50 feet......
Yes, it is kind of an end-of-the-world option.... useful to keep bears from rubbing up against the body in the mountains...lol . The new law has changed on Interstate/ roadway obstruction... not that you would ever do it unless your life was in danger, but charging through may save your life...
Yes Coachgeo, follow that thread for the CTIS module delete, just replace the manual air valves with electric ones, that feed off the ignition circuit.
The CTIS is rebuilt, It is all manual.
switched Electric Air valves... got rid of the stock problematic junk. this system works perfect, and it is inexpensive to install.
Thanks guys, I have some great help, and one of the best metal fabricators in NC. I LOVE building these, but LOOOOVEE selling them. THis Aussy5T is almost ready for the sale block. Happy builds.....!
Hello,
to save you money, these units can be installed by most any
RV shop, and charged by most all HVAC companies.
We would not have time to install these on trucks other than our own.
- testing these units is a bit of w long drawn out process, which involves
stressing all the componants...
Another thing I like, on an external battery bank, engine OFF.. The unit will run for 8 hours before switch auto shuts down unit/ due to low voltage.
//// think waiting at Ferry, or traffic where youvwant to shut engine off, etc.
