    Portland to Sequim (Hopefully)

Hopefully that can be fought off. I'm not a WA resident otherwise I'd try and spearhead something.

She looks like a happy girl, glad to be back out on the road where she belongs!

    New to me M51A2

Welcome! I've got a lead on one of these, might even be free.

Steel Soldiers 20th Anniversary Logo Contest!!!

Looking good! I personally still vote for the one SouthJL came up with the M939 front end, but I'm enjoying the creativity we're seeing! Is there going to be some sort of a poll thread going up at some point?

    I'm 16, just bought a Deuce and a Half!

Welcome from another 20 year old 5 ton owner! I haven't picked it up yet, but I bought an M928A1 in August. It is the first vehicle I have ever owned myself.

Steel Soldiers 20th Anniversary Logo Contest!!!

I like this one, simpler is better. That said, I still lean toward your design with the M939 front end. Another idea- how about specifically an M936 variant on there? The wrecker specifically being used/depicted could symbolize other things, i.e all these members helping each other.

Bob or not to Bob 5Ton

Don't bob. I would only bob mine if it had, say, frame damage from an accident.

Steel Soldiers 20th Anniversary Logo Contest!!!

As someone just mentioned bridge plate: How about something involving that iconic M939 series front end as a logo, with the bridge plate? Could go on the back the Steel Soldiers logo/moniker, along with the 20 years 1999-2019 and whatever else on the front.

Steel Soldiers 20th Anniversary Logo Contest!!!

Following! Please let us know when a design is finalized and available. Given how much the people of Steel Soldiers have influenced my life I will absolutely buy whatever memorobilia comes out.

    Hoarders Deuce

^More info? One thing I fear is that it will probably lack a title.

That's it!! That's it right there!

    Hoarders Deuce

For those of you who watch A&E's "Hoarding: Buried Alive" in November there should be an episode airing about a house in Fairbanks, Alaska, with hundreds of vehicles in the yard. It's a local landmark I literally used to refer to, as I live maybe a mile from it: "The house on Farmer's Loop Road...

    Just Bought an M35A2

Welcome! I almost bought one of these as my first car, as an 18 year old college student. Great old trucks. Cantankerous as they are, taken care of they will outlive you.

    I Took the Plunge: 71DeuceAK's 1986 M928A1 Project

I absolutely will! I've always had a very soft spot for the M939 series trucks, particularly the XLWB models. Many other enthusiasts have even told me I'm nuts with this one, but given their relative rarity it's worth bringing this one back to life. The only fear I have is if the frame is...

Oh, I was (and still am!) out of my mind. Worse yet, there was possibly going to be an hourlong (at Deuce speed) commute in the offering. University parking would have been yet another issue.

Funny you mention that, as unfortunately I live in cramped university housing right now myself! That may be about to change but I don't think I could stuff the 928 at that house either. With that said, my truck is currently in Oklahoma and I'm in Alaska, so I have bigger worries in terms of...
