Look at the very large electrical schematic, in the -34 manual on page 38. The right side will deal with the DC side and the left mainly deals with the AC side. I would check S7 which is the starter lockout. If that is not adjusted correctly, you will have all the symptoms you describe. The...
1) take the throttle linkage out (take the flat head screws out and then it slides out.
2) back the inlet and outlet adapters out or take them out completely
3) take the 4 allen screws off the housing and then push the pump out of the housing.
4) take the big c-clip off and separate the pump...
The amount of work you have done, I'm betting your problem is with a mis wired hookup. I had a unit with a similiar problem and I checked everything like you. I double checked the wiring and everything checked out, then I was taking S8 out of another unit to switch them around and noticed it was...
It's not that important, its a little plastic gasket that fits around the valve assembly under the spring. It's orange when new but after they have been in the motors for years, they turn a brown color. Check out the part break down on the attachment. Its number 5 on the head assembly (page 3)...
Unfortunately, if you didn't check the plunger before the initial start up then it probably broke the plunger guide inside. If the plunger was at the lowest position when you turned it over, it shoved the plunger up and then stuck in the highest position, which usually breaks the guide. You'll...
Looks good. My only concern was with the clearance of the blower. The picture makes it look as if the tank is sitting right against the generator. The ASK surroundings only give about 5-6 inch clearing between the blower screen and the kit so if you have that you should be fine.
There is a small o-ring type gasket on the bottom of the bowl, where the bolt head meets and then the large gasket for the bowl/head. I've had some units where someone had overtightened the bowl and mashed it or tightened it before it was in the grove (where the large gasket is located) of the...
I agree that 16kw is way to much for these machines. I load test every unit I sell at 14kw for approximately 30 minutes and then set it to 12kw for an extended period (minimal of 6 hours) to make sure everything performs perfectly. The only reason I do that is because I want to make sure the...
It should have come with its own bridge, I can't remember specifically but I think this one had a plastic bridge. All the part numbers I referenced, I actually pulled from my ebay purchased activity so i know they were used on different units I rebuilt.
I'm so sorry Light in the Dark, when you asked about the gauges I didn't think about having to add a different connectors. The Isspro doesn't need different connectors and the Beede or Faria marine gauges don't need different connectors, but they read 100-250F so it's 10 degrees off.
FARIA...
Agree with m32825, get a kill a watt meter and plug it into an outlet in the house. It will be a problem with the gauge or transducer. The 802a has an updated transducer and I've never seen one fail, it's always the gauge. The older 002a models always had problems with the transducer.

These are the ones that I have purchased. I think 2 of them say 12v but it only deals with the bulb for illumination. They all use the stock sender and the Dayton gauge Csheath recommended should use the stock sender.
Yes, search ebay for 100-240 temperatur gauge. Isspro and VDO have 2 models that I've used. I used both with good results. Usually marine gauges work perfect.
