Sounds like humvee gauges being humvee gauges, mines sometime goes to 0 until I hit the gauge which brings it back to 30

Yep, I took it apart, I didn't see any crazy kind of sludge or dirt in it. I drove the truck for about an hour and its doing perfect so far, I'll take it out again tomorrow and see how it does.

I took the fuel cap off and still the same thing, the fuel filters are coming in today so I will change that and see what happens, the only reason I have doubts that its the filter is because the last time I took it out, the filter and the housing was still clean inside

Ok so Im back at it again, I bypass the check valve, and started the truck but it die in about 30 seconds, after that, I fill the filter up with diesel and then squirted some in the lines and still no start, I usually do this when I bleed the fuel system and it'll start after cranking for a...

So that hose I mention that had the a kink in it that's under the check valves, you can't tell much in this picture, but it was kinked pretty bad, Im going to get that replaced and the check valves bypassed

Ok so its safe to bypass both of them? I was worried that the feeding check valve would drain fuel back to the tank and make it harder to start.

Ok, tomorrow that's my next job, I just need a 3/8 or 5/16 barb fitting to bypass it right?

Is there a napa number for the check valve?

I didn't remove the check valve, where would that be located? The only reason I didn't consider that is because the truck always start instantly, even after sitting for over a month, the fuel didn't drain back in the tank from the check valve

Yep, did that, the tank doesn't look bad at all but there is a little dirt sitting at the bottom, I manage to get almost all of it out. I also use the power service clear diesel cleaner in the fuel that I drained out, I had the truck as reliable as a buy and drive vehicle, but now it has return...
