Well that was just a guess, so why is it in the panel if it is just not available? What does the A1 have? Maybe it could be updated on the A0. Doesn't the latch have to have pressure to un-latch? So a pressure switch could be added to control the panel light.
Well as I guess you know any electronics can be repaired, just find the failed part or parts or failed solder joints etc. I make a very good living doing that.
No I have not repaired a CTIS yet. But that is because I have not been able to get my hands on a bad one.
Why is it unlikely to happen? It is not rocket science, you just pick away at it and try various solvents and heat. I have unpotted hundreds of parts to repair or reverse engineer.
I have new membrane switch cover parts for sale soon, maybe later next week. Most parts have already been made...
Can you furnish the sketch to me? I will look at the speed sensor but it should be very simple once I record the speed/pulses info. Will you be making circuit boards for this? I have a lot of experience making them very cheaply so if I can help, PM me. I have new membrane panels for the old ECU...
OK, when the shaft was new it was balanced. If you pull slip joint out and rotate it 180° it will not be in balance. So you have a 50% chance of getting it right when you are correcting the mistake someone else made.
so it is being talked about sliding the slip joint apart and putting it back in with correct alignment? If yes, then you will have a 50% chance of the shaft being out of balance since you will have no way to know how it was aligned when it was originally made.
I do not understand what you mean about the driveshaft being out of phase? Do you mean it was welded in an incorrect place? Pictures of drawing please.
