You can always add a snatch block or two if you have them. An ATV one would work depending on the size of the cable. Less stress on everything except the beam carrying the load.
Old age has reduced my lifting capacity as well. Crap.
This is not a pic of mine but it shows the same number of rivets. Are you saying the grill can be removed without removing them? That I could do to replace the metal.
Much as I would like to take the grill off mine so I could replace the expanded metal where someone cut it to get to the cooler I doubt I could stand drilling out that many rivets.
But good job.
I'll add that to the list of things to work on/fix, new vlalves and gladhands on the front to air it up that way.
I already have the gladhand hoses setup for airing tires with inflator and truck to truck hoses as well.

The only thing I found remotely resembling what I want said to connect at air dryer and not use a tank. I do have plugs that could be removed in the tank but screwing with the dryer makes me nervous.
Now go back to drinking your bourbon and smoking fancy cigars. Next answer.

Now I thought it would be easy to find an answer using the Internet but I was mistaken.
It's simple, where is the best place to add a quick disconnect hose fitting (with valve) to the air system that I can use to pressurize the truck before start?
I do not want to screw it up or introduce an...
And I believe that is the way prescribed in the manual. Drop it on pallet laying on the ground and dragging it out with something that do it.
(Just kidding)
As for removal the only tip I can think of is to go to Harbor Freight and get one of the small furniture dollys for $10. Tip only works on a nice concrete floor though or you'll be cussing me.
Talk about a blast from the past. I looked at that trailer and thought "cool, someone else put an MRAP toolbox on the front of their M101".
