An update to my last post:
I moved Lubbock, TX in November of 2017.
I'm trying to put together a little lubbock area military vehicle lunch or dinner meet-and-greet.
Today while out & about on patrol at the airport I was able to snap some up-close pictures of one of our crash trucks.
Tire size: 24R21....CRAZY tall!!!
I moved to Lubbock 8mo ago. We went through Silent Wings museum about 4months ago. It's still AMAZING. Their Jeep exhibit is awesome and well restored.

I just spoke w/the GF. Were coming to play this year (our first year to attend). Were driving down on 23rd and heading home Sunday due to her work. M35A2 unless I get my M38A1 engine rebuild completed between now and then...which probably won't happen.
I hit another (albeit minor) setback with the Jeep. It turns out that in the last few months while my jeep was at the mechanic (for the engine rebuild) it has not been touched by the mechanic...not one bit. So today I drove the 2hr back to his shop, picked up the jeep, and brought it down to...
the airport ARFF guys did some fire training today in their pit. their training area has a metal full size plane shell with nozzles to squirt aviation fuel inside/around the "plane". I was able to snap a few so-so cell phone shots of two of the rigs getting in some practice. enjoy!

After 4-5-ish months of physical therapy & working with my orthopedist I was cleared for police-work last month. I put in an application with several local agencies (Lubbock Sheriff's Office, Lubbock Police Dpt, Texas Tech Univ. Police, and Lubbock Airport Police)...
