My guess would be it would be fine. They are rated for 10 tons on-road. I’d hold the center of the drop sides together with a large ratchet strap, and do it, all day long. Buddy did it with an M35a2 and it was fine.

I have a super clean non-EGR ISX Signature 600hp 15L engine available for any that want to really make theirs go. Sounds amazing at idle, and would pull like a freight train. You'd only shift gears if you wanted to, not because you have to.

Take the air line off going into the solenoid. Put some oil in there. Reconnect it, and cycle it a few times. The seat in the solenoid probably just dried up or the pintle can’t fully seat due to rust or a foreign piece. Lube may help it.
