Ok, folks, this is the thread for the 21GMVR. You post up what you'd like to sell, and what you're looking for and if you're open to trades.
I'll get this started
I have for sale: nothing
I'm looking for:
NOS Scepter fuel cans
NOS drivers side multifuel M44A2 (M35A2) fender
G177 tires...
Yes. The swap meet area is bigger than it looks. I've always liked the aspect of the event of just everyone hanging out in one central area.
Thanks for catching this. I have edited the post and the FB post.
Yes, see here: http://www.bobbybrownpark.com/master-plan-info.html
And here...
Ok folks. I have the 2021 rally thread up.

I am really sorry this has taken this long. The amount of time it takes to go see all these sites, talk to the management and see what...
What else. I've been working on this all day. My brain is pretty fried.
Laundry service
One of the public showers. One person at a time and you can lock the door
Hey everybody. This is Clint.
Please accept my apologies for how long this has taken. Mac and I visited more than a dozen sites and due to the distances involved, every one of those was an all day affair. So both of us had to take an entire day off work, drive out there, look it over, and then...
Just show up.
We'll post the date and location this week.
I can't tell ya'll how sorry I am about the delays. I have worked 7 days a week for the last year and a half and I'm exhausted to the point that I'm useless.
But we have a spot and we'll have a date and Mac's already started writing...
Yupp, that's the stuff. You can buy it in black, white, gray and red. The gray must be new, I didn't even know they offered that. Literally everything I've painted in the last 10 years have been with this stuff.
15 years ago, my buddy bought a couple 416s which we stripped to bare metal and...
I typically paint Gillespie at the recommended 4:1 ratio and use Xylene like everyone else. I have thinned it as much as 1:1 without issues.
I shoot it with a cheap Harbor Freight paint gun...
Steve's book is excellent, I can not say enough good things about it.
I am doing a pretty complete rebuild on a '42 M2A1 and the only component I haven't gone through (yet) is the rear axle. I've done the front axle, both gearboxes, the engine, the brakes, new tracks, etc.
Steve's book is...
I wanted to make a quick post and let everyone know where we're at. I know we're only 5 months out from the typical rally time and people need enough time to get off work. We're doing the best we can - the rally doesn't pay any of us and we're all busy with jobs and family, so it's hard to...

Thanks for all the technical assistance. I'll make sure the client understands to keep these on a tender, never let them discharge and consider moving to a two-battery setup

Getting closer. Ceramic coated manifolds.
I rebuilt both the starter and fuel pump
Engine
First primer going on. Southern Polyurethane's excellent epoxy.
First coat. PPG's Omni (house brand) line of urethane. Has one part flattening agent.
I'm operating at the limit of my old Snap-on engine stand. Flipping this over isn't fun.
