The two share fluid you have to make sure none of the little pieces made it into the trans. A friend had an issue years ago. There is a chat here screen above the solenoid pack it was full of bearing parts. I have trans here but I’m in CT. I know someone else who did a t case swap and something...
I woukd swap the whole trans as one. If your solenoid pack is reusable I would save it. There are differences even in wtec2 transmissions. Different wiring on the solenoid pack.
I have the stock 3116 with higher speed gearing. It put the engine more in its power band. I don’t think I lost any low end. I can be on the highway at 58 and the engine isn’t at 2600rpms anymore. The fan isn’t constantly cycling.
There is a flasher module behind the passenger kick panel. There should be a breaker for each circuit on the board though. That is the only breaker panel on the truck. There are 2 large relays on the underside but if your truck starts then they are working. Do you have a panel cover there is a...
They dont all have bad joints. Only some. The board pictured is the only one. Bad solder joints will usually present as intermittent issues. The board is multilayer so its not easy to resolder.
The circuit board pdp as pictured can develop bad solder joints over time. And you get intermittent issues. I have pulled relay sockets right off the board trying to just pull the relay out. Some of them the military used eco friendly less lead solder.
There are 2 locations. One main warehouse and then a lot a few miles down the road. I know the lot is open mon-thurs 8-2. I bet if it was something at the lot you could just show up and ask. Due to the current situation they may be hesitant but under more normal circumstances I bet it would be fine.
I would replace all the relays and reseat all the breakers. I see alot of trucks have bad main grounds. I always run a new big ground from the batt negative to the main frame rail. Make sure its sanded for good contact. Check the starter connections and all the extra grounds.
Theres a bunch of engine sensor that can prevent the computer from firing. If you lost prime and theres no fuel at the pump that can throw an error. It wont open the injectors but I think it would let you crank. You can try to crank it from the starter with the dash switch on and see if it...
If the engine computer isnt happy it wont open the injectors. If you have a heavy code reader you can plug into engine diag and see if any codes. A1 trucks its not always a simple diagnosis.
Arrow up and down at same time in n on keypad see if there are codes. Grounds usually under the power panel right side is a big grouped ground. You an try sanding the connections and making sure its all tight. Does it run and drive if you start it from the starter?
