That’s a tough question, you can buy a S&S trailer for 1-2 grand. So my guess if you wanted to get rid of it maybe $500 if you wanted to get rich and wait a long time maybe someone would be willing to pay$2,000.
My 1997 donor M1079 was definitely used with 10k miles paperwork showing sowing it was in Kuwait. It even saw action, It has a bullet wound or a grazing from a Ak47 round.
We left it there during the paint prep work. So it’s still there. The angle and direction it came from just missed the top...
I stole my 1997 M1079 for $10,500 on gov planet just as the Covid really got crazy. But I removed the box and installed it on my 2003 M1078A1. Then sold the 1997 truck for $8,500!

Thanks for all the information...
Have you already ruled out front shackles?
I totally understand as we make them more quiet the little noises start to bother us. Driving down the road can’t stop trying to figure out what the heck is making that noise. I had on in the AC unit that sometimes you could hear it when the fan speed...
I can definitely see on both of mine where the steel bushing on the bolt is rubbing on the large clearance hole caused by the rubber compressing over time. So where did you find new motor mounts?
I wonder who is buying all the crashed / parts trucks from govplanet. Some must be parting these trucks out.
Actually reach out to Superman on this forum he usually has a couple parts trucks.
