    Eliminate the air/oil pump

Hmm.. got me thinking a little bit.. I could use the spot where the manifold was previously housed. put a reservoir in its place and plumb into the pump. I'm going to look at the prince wolverine pump you have as well. Either way, i'm curious of anyone that used the same setup here has had...

    Eliminate the air/oil pump

According to the power packer spec. 35 cubic inch capacity 0.249 cubic inch volume per stroke. I'm just duplicating Chad.. My suspicion is that what I bought might not be true Power Packer.. might be a quality issue is my hunch.

    Eliminate the air/oil pump

Did that last night with the new pump. I had the cap loosely on. Came out of the back and the cap... https://share.icloud.com/photos/0ddg7te0Tfkxo62_l8GsZVzZg

    Eliminate the air/oil pump

I've just deleted my air over hydraulic setup. I just went with the power packer hand pump that BrokeOverland spec'd in his video, and what I think some here have done as well. Plumbed directly to the cab lift cylinder. Things went pretty smoothly, until I lowered the cab. Flip the lever...

OK Oklahoma Insurance -- State Farm Fail -- Hagerty for the Win

I just tried Hagerty.. They won't insure my LMTV because it is not old enough... I have a 2007 model and they said it was too new... and told me to find someone else. :( Edit: I'm in TX, btw Trying State Farm now.

    Cab Latch / Latching plate

I'll keep my eye on it.. got a lot of other things on the 'to-do' list for the truck... i am interested in your mounts though.. i'd much rather do the driver front cab mount once. :) Passenger side and cab latch mounts are easy

    Cab Latch / Latching plate

they are NOS.. expiration date of 2019, but the rubber still feels good.. not squishy or gummy.

    Cab Latch / Latching plate

Well.. Good news.. I already have two 5342-01-371-793 (part #7 above). These are on the shelf waiting to be installed in the front (both of the fronts are dust).

    Cab Latch / Latching plate

Same thing here.. I have an A1R (so it is a fixed cab.. no air or adjustments). If this is in the TM, I can't find it. I guess just cut one out of horse stall mat as well? If there is a replacement/part#, please share. -Gavin

    LBCD Corroded terminals

I'm fairly certain the leaking AOH pump did this. The intake heater solenoid had similar corrosion. I had to replace that already.

    LBCD Corroded terminals

Not sure what to make of this. Can I replace just the studs? The nuts hold it to the case are nearly corroded thru. Was working when removed. But not sure I want to put it back on in this condition. Thoughts? [edited to remove the emoji spam]

    A1R Ether start

Hi fine folks.. I'm in the process of deleting my air over hydraulic system (going with the single manual hand pump instead), and removing the spare tire carrier. I'm building a camper. To remove the tire carrier the TM (and all the nuts and bolts tell me) that I need to remove the ether...

Critical FMTV PM not covered in TMs

Just stopping by this thread to say "Thank you" New to me m1078a1r. Attempted to raise the cab and was greeted with a hydraulic fluid shower spraying from the latch pin. Lowered the spare tire out of the way. 1 3/4" socket on the end cap as described. Removed end cap, wiggled the cylinder...
