    Loss of power. White smoke.

Since issue started at operating temperature you are correct it isn’t a glow plug issue. I was hunting for a stuck open injector or 8 in my last question. But, you have no hydrolock and normal cold starting. That means your injectors are holding back fuel When the engine is off. Does it smoke...

    Loss of power. White smoke.

I agree. Dirty white is normally too cold for complete combustion. Does it start right up when cold?

    Loss of power. White smoke.

Does it have a coolant smell? Is the smoke puffy cloud white or angry storm cloud white? Puffy white with a coolant whiff leads to head gasket. Dirty white is fuel normally. Have you checked your coolant level with the engine cold? Do you have a way to do a cooling system pressure test?

    6.2 Liter Engine Specs?

TM 9-2815-237-34 is the HMMWV engine technical manual. It has everything you are looking for plus more.

    She go in gear

The PTO should not be spinning with the clutch pushed down. Combined with your grinding gears. I would suggest looking at the clutch linkage and see if it is still intact.

    Tow Bar Feet?

The ones vertical seem to be M715.

    She go in gear

Normally only 1st and reverse can be selected if the PTO is engaged. Get the PTO back to the neutral that the lockout plate will hold the PTO shifter at. It sometimes takes a little wiggling to find that neutral.

    WMO processing

Nice set up and process. You do realize that some government types might call what you have as a refinery. Which has all kinds of regulations. Keeping a lower profile is probably a good idea.

    Need help finding acceptable parts

Are you sure it is power steering fluid? The engine oil cooler lines run over or near both. Plus, some trucks have the oil sample port above the steering box as well. I suggest spraying degreaser everywhere, getting the entire area clean and then see where the leaking is if any.

    Need help finding acceptable parts

I should have asked this first. Why do you need a new box and pump? Missing, broke or just sloppy?

    Need help finding acceptable parts

I have the same experience as the post above. The steering box is best rebuilt or adjusted. If that isn’t possible, look for companies that do the boxes for off road applications and contact them. I would not go with a parts store box. Junkyard or parts truck would probably be better results.

    D Turbo

Do you have the flame assist cold starting set up? The fuel line for that is plastic and when cracked can leak between the engine and turbo. Something to check that is an easier and cheaper fix than the turbo.

    Power steering pump bracket hardware

I understood what you were getting at and agree it is a good modification. I also agree with voting. Done.

    Power steering pump bracket hardware

Everything that bolts to the 6.2 engine is metric. The rest of the truck is a guess. M10 x 1.5 sounds correct. There is a nut on the other side of the water pump holding the solid fuel line clamp. You can remove it with no chance of causing any leaks easily. It should be the same size and just...

    M1008 alternator

The water pump pulley getting pulled from both directions is probably why your passenger alternator was still installed. Here is a video about the power steering tool: I put the tool on upside down because I couldn’t figure out how to film and hold it the correct way. Then I forget to...

Just bought my deuce, first had a ticking noise, now its knocking

They make a lot of noises that take a while to get used to what is normal and what isn’t. Are you wearing hearing protection? That is a must and also makes things sound totally different. Do you have good oil pressure? Look at your hood hinges at idle. They tend to get loose and bounce like...

    Wanna hear a dumb idea?

OK. I just read through 4 different tow bar TM’s from the 1960’s to the 1990’s. They all say to put the “foot” curve up for towing with all the wheels on the ground. However, for the HMMWV only when lifting and towing they show it mounted curve side down as you have it. I must have confused a...

    Wanna hear a dumb idea?

Turn the feet over before you actually tow with it. I have seen pictures on this site of broken bits and all the TM’s say don’t run with the towbar feet upside down like they are in the picture.

    My M715 'rework' project

Temple would be very nice. Yours is looking very good.
