    CUCV Coolant Issue

The over flow won't do much until you shut it off hot. It'll pull coolant into the radiator if it needs it...it takes a few drive cycles to get it leveled out then might see some move into it once it gets to be summer time heat then pull it back in once it cools off. The radiator cap is pretty...

    CUCV Coolant Issue

Yup let the over flow fill it where it wants it. These do take a very long time to heat up. Not sure if you know but the other point of having the correct lb cap is to raise the boiling point of the coolant. Something to think about especially if you live in a high elevation. Sent from my...

    CUCV Coolant Issue

Oh ok there's your problem then...it needs room to expand. Gotta let it find its full. The cap does that. Since you fill it to the top it will push out the extra...explains the tight hoses too. Drop it 4 5 inches below the top and keep the over flow full to cold. Sent from my SM-S906U using...

    CUCV Coolant Issue

Ok. I hate to assume either were good...but kinda have to. I have little faith in some parts stores. I'd look where the cap seals in the top of the radiator...see if it matches up with the cap seal and depth. Does the upper hose get tight still? And yes you can over fill it but the cap is the...

    CUCV Coolant Issue

I'd say get a new radiator cap on it. I can't remember the pressure though. I think 14.5...but I'd have to look that up. The fill point is a little above the heater core return. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

    Windshield rubber m1031

Just did one a few weeks ago in my sons 1009...that lip tucks into itself. I used a fat pick since that tool doesn't work for those...used glass cleaner as a lube then went around with the pick and it tucked in easy. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

    MEP-803 exhaust extension

Yeah you don't want that hitting the case. Gotta be independent. Have spring supports for that too. Pretty heavy. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

    M1009… No Headlights HELP

Ok that says a ton! The ground on the plug is bolted right above the headlight but on the engine side just under the hood. The drivers side should be bolted to where the coolant res is...passenger side is right in front of the front battery. That ground goes right to that plug. Probably what...

Batteries, Charging, and using a Winch question.

Sounds like you have a bad battery, alternator or both. Why not get a 24 volt winch? You gotta remember that the alternator max output is only 100 amps not at idle with 12 volts. Not much. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

    CUCVRUS Repair Projects

I know a guy that has a ton of the oem starter bolts...you know one of those guys lol. I didn't know you can buy the bolt that goes in the block new still. Funny story as tonight my sons 1009 started making a tinny rattle noise. He poked under the truck and found the bracket there but no bolt...

New Member With A Broken M1008

I have no idea!! They must have needed relays for something but the way they did it doesn't make sense. Either way follow the fat wire on the bottom of the relay and see where it goes...could be capped off. Probably just remove it then. It looks to be feeding 24 volt to something. Sent from my...
