It looks like I may finally be getting a title for the '67 M105A2 that I purchased back in early March so it's time to start planning. If you look past the paint the trailer itself is virtually arrow straight and rust free. A very nice candidate for this project considering that the trailer and...
While reading old threads I ran across a post on hood handles. Having just pinched my fingers for the umpteenth time I reached out to gringletaube to see if he had any of his improved version left. A few messages later I had one headed this way from Uruguay. Once it arrived I couldn't wait to...
I went with the red Mystic JT-6 (bucket and tubes) from Napa. It's a #2 bearing and chassis grease. I look at it the same way. Lubricants have come a long way since these trucks were produced and the LO was written.

Super hot where you are at right now? Heat soak can do weird things to the solenoids if they are getting some age on them. Might check all of the relay connections and grounds too.
So, to be clear for myself and anyone else that may read this down the road. The single lights use a driving or IR lens over the top of a sealed beam, correct?
Kicking this one back to the top. Is there a current clear replacement for the IR lens? It appears that demonscycle.com is down or gone. Looking for clear lenses for the single armored lights as shown below. Lot's of this style available used but with the IR lens.
