6 bolt to 10 Bolt wheel adapters

Does anyone recognize these adapters? They came on an axle that I purchased to rob the tires from. Old thread but it seemed like the appropriate place.

Proper first class overhaul. Really nice. My hats off to you. =)

    24v inline fuel pump

Kicking this one back up to tag on some information for future reference. I had seen this chart for the original Olympic 311389-1 in-tank pump but it was too small for me to read. Here is a full size version along with some calculated specs. Power draw as stated by the factory rep is 2.5 amps...

M35a2 air filter element: commercial part #?

Interesting comparison. The larger used filter is an original Greenlee and the new filter is the current 410 CFM rated Donaldson. The original Greenlee filter after being cleaned weighs 4.8 lbs while the Donaldson weighs 3.8 lbs. Greenlee OD is 11-9/16" while the Donaldson is 10". It's...

M35a2 air filter element: commercial part #?

I added a Donaldson Air Ram snorkel to mine to achieve a bit of positive head pressure to the air filter canister when the truck is in motion.

    M35a2 weird brake system issues

If what peashooter said is correct and the reservoir won't cross over then the standard remote top plate wouldn't work either.

    M35a2 weird brake system issues

Good to know. Thanks for jumping in.

    M35a2 weird brake system issues

More information that may or may not be helpful. If you search Rock Auto for the Dorman M39477 (out of stock) it also brings up the Raybestos MC39477. These are on clearance for $53.84 plus shipping but would require you to swap your reservoir over to the new master cylinder assembly. The one...

    M35a2 weird brake system issues

I have the following alternate rebuild kits in my notes but I haven't been able to confirm that they are correct. All of these kits include the springs and pistons. Pretty complete kits if you can find them. Again, confirm before searching. Alternate/OEM Part Number(s): GM 15513991 GM...

    M35a2 weird brake system issues

Going from memory I believe the rebuild kit for our dual circuit trucks is the Raybestos MK1624. Hopefully someone will jump in here and verify that. @peashooter is one of our resident brake experts. Edited to correct the member reference.

    M35a2 weird brake system issues

Could be as simple as a bad seal in the master but there are guys here that are light years ahead of me on troubleshooting the split brake system.

    M35a2 weird brake system issues

Do you have pictures of the underside of the truck? I don't see an '88 with all the signs of it being an AF truck with split brakes and a plastic reservoir not having the second air pack unless things have been drastically altered.

    24v led lighted license plate

I was wondering if in fact it was actually an LED or something different.

    24v led lighted license plate

The wire number should be correct. Did you check to see what the wattage of the bulb in the license plate light is? It sounds like you’re pulling more amperage on that circuit than it can provide for some reason.

Flame heater delete completed with Rattlin Trucks kit

Looking at your photo more closely it does look like you have a bit of twist in the line. I would finish tightening them up until the ferrules break free. Then I would loosen one side back up, allow the twist to relax, and retighten the nut. Mine didn't seem to twist at all but I was holding the...

Flame heater delete completed with Rattlin Trucks kit

Ken and I are talking via email so I will post a snip of my reply here along with photos and additional information for future reference... These factory fittings feel very strange compared to a normal compression fitting. The feel like they stop just before the ferrule snaps free (as intended)...

Flame heater delete completed with Rattlin Trucks kit

Thanks for the write-up kenn. Just clarification on a couple of things... The compression nuts are actually an exact match to the original fittings. The ferrule is attached to the nut until the fitting is tightened down. The theory is that once the ferrule on the end "bites" it snaps free of...

    Axle Identification?

LOL! I don't know how much longer I'll be able to afford the property but I'm going to enjoy it as long as I can. =)

    Axle Identification?

I ran out and hauled the axle home for my dual wheel M105 project. Rolls smoothly and the property owner let me have it for free just to get it out of there. While I was there I noticed a corporate 14 bolt with 8 lug to 10 lug adapter, Deuce wheels, and brand new Titan T-Hawk 9.00-20's on it...

    Axle Identification?

Honestly Juan, I wash there were as much data available on the trailers as there is for the trucks.
