Desirability of a LDS wastegate turbo multifuel

When I bought my truck (M35a2) from Al back in 2013 he sent along with it a running take out LDS multi-fuel motor (from a 5 ton) with a wastegate turbo which remains packaged up the same way I got it from him : | When I bought the truck I had two less kids and a nice paying IT job - since then...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Just got done reading the other thread and came back to see you summarized, thanks, good call on viscosity for ease of starting too 👍 By doing this method you save the canister filters from catching dislodged junk it sounds like, but also doesn't clean pump, feed or return lines. Mine has sat...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

A question (not directly asked before from what I can tell): Is there any potential issue with pre-filling the fuel filters with ATF before my first start? Thought is to let that cycle and hopefully clean things out a bit upon startup without diluting by dumping into fuel tank.

Are the newer ball-joint style torque rod ends still available anywhere?

Spoke with Mike Virili from "Bike Miles Motorpool" today who confirmed: That seems to leave open the possibility that if there were enough interest they may reproduce, even if a one off run.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Thank you for the windshield link I knew I remembered seeing that around and I'll do some checking on the top. Appreciate all the replies this form and often the straight and particular usually does a good job of lifting me when I'm in the Deuce Blues : )

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yeah, I do know that's the rule, and not a bad one (new wine in old wineskins and all that. But that's also putting a good ~$200 battery on the shelf as a "spare" that I wont use. Is the issue that it could overly exert the new battery, and effectively bring it down to the old batteries...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Good suggestion, baby-steps to the Deuce : ) Question: Any issue mixing old and new batteries? Got one nearly new Group 31 900 CCA battery, but thinking I want to switch to Group 27 with slightly lower CCA. Any problems mixing old/new, different CCA?

Are the newer ball-joint style torque rod ends still available anywhere?

I've read the threads indicating that these are better, but it looks like torque rod ends are becoming rarer (even the stock ones) and cant find anyone selling the greaseable ones. They still available (tried Big Mikes and Erik' s and both are sold out)? Also, am I missing some simple...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Started back in on the Deuce today after *cough* 3 years sitting : ( Fried the old batteries due to a welded solenoid (more info) and haven't touched since. Installed the Gear Reduction Starter today that I got from 74M35A2 - MUCH lighter to install than the old one was to take off. Got some...
