Today I cleaned out the A3 aluminum tank that I picked up. I first drained about 5 gallons of off road diesel that was still in there from the previous owner (only spilled 1/2 of it : ) and then took out the supply tube (not sure what it's called but the A3 tank does not have a in tank pump) and...
Picked up a spare windshield with frame to replace my broken one, picked up an M35A3 aluminum tank, a couple of round mirrors, a battery box (had 2x4s before), a hood retainer and some front bumper shackles to go on the bottom of the bumper.
Also drove it in the rain and realized the windshield...
Info sent in pm. The shipper actually called me today to see if you were interested (I asked him the other day if I could pass his info along). He said he is headed to CA currently (from GA now).
Good luck however you go!
I had American Way shipping ship my deuce and m105 from ~Spokane to MD. My take was that the company was actually just a couple of Russian brothers, but they did it and it got here safely. I can pm you the contract info if you want.
You forgot fuel (vapor) entering through the air intake; Environmentaly such as gas leak or from something onboard like too much ether (permeated filter) or malfunctioning manifold heater etc
Agreed that if you can shut down the "fuel" you can quickly stop the run away 99 percent percent of the...
That's where I got mine too. TMG were great and rekeyed two different colors alike (3 color camo on the truck).
That being said, if you are enterprising you can get some Chinese screen door handles, a couple of security screws and some Rapco rattle cans for the same thing...and probably pay the...
Agreed, there are too many ways for "fuel" of some sort to make it into the combustion chamber to reliably and quickly shut them off in a runaway situation (normal injection, via intake [gaseous], turbo seal etc).
If you can quickly shutoff the only source of air (post filter is best), you can...
What I read was that vertical did not allow someone to grab the handle and put their full body weight on them.
Granted there are a million ways to get into a deuce otherwise, however you gotta start somewhere.
I'm getting better on my turn signals, but without a buzzer it sure is was to...
Meaning you could conceivably leave it in 1st and be bumped from the front causing the truck to drive backwards using first gear (due to the engine rotating backwards)?
Heard of that on detroit (I think it was) but not on the multifuel before.
My fuel shutoff does not lock in the out position...
I won't argue that they aren't an outdated design.
That being said the tall slim profile does provide advantage in some offroad situations over the typical "radial profile".
Also for onroad performance the small contact patch (at full inflation) reduces rolling resistance and can give better...
You typically adjust your exhaust brake (how much the butterfly valve closes) to keep it at a certain amount of backpressure.
Recommendations I have seen are to keep it below 30psi backpressure and hence the need for a gauge when you use one.
I would still much rather use a blast type gate in...
