What did you do to your deuce this week?

The large trunk is Oak. The rest of the trailer load (not pictured) is Ash. And the Deuce is just a mule for the dump trailer until I tear it apart and make it dump as well in the off season. Being alone today, I wasnt up to the task of filling both beds lol. Before I burned wood for heat, maybe...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Had a lucky break and was let out of work early today. Cured my 2.5 ton withdrawals in the woods for the rest of the day. Nothing else to report. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Well... Finished my air shift install last Sunday and wasn't able to test it out until yesterday. All I can say is how awesome it is to KNOW that you're locked into 6x6 instead of hoping a stupid sprag is working when the wheels start spinning. We had an awesome day yesterday and I'm very happy...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Genuinely good info to be sharing and I appreciate it Tracer. There's probably a large number of folks like myself who are wondering why a TM that covers modifying W/OW to W/W doesnt exist. (Unless it does and I'm too dense to find it) Speaking of modifying... Got the airshift transfer case...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Patience paid off and I was able to bring home an Airshift transfer case yesterday evening. I'm pulling the cab and floor of the truck as we speak so I can hopefully have this swap done by tomorrow night if all goes well. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Newbie's First Post

I appreciate the thorough reply. Gives me something to look for if I decide to stick with the 136 and open it up before installation. Unless I find a reasonable air shift t-case close to me of course.

    Newbie's First Post

Is that the result of an actual component that was out of adjustment/broken or are you saying that the sprag t-case will do this under its best operating conditions.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Turned my W/OW into a W/W on Friday. Cosmetically for now until I get the PTO installed and read up on what kind of hole I have to punch in the floor pan for the control lever. Also deleted my intake flame heater after finding a large amount of fuel in my crankcase. Until I get a hold of an...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Just wanted to update on the Sprag T-case situation. Pretty sure it's entirely stripped out at this point. What should've been a cake walk ended up wasting my entire Wednesday afternoon. Air Shift T-case coming soon! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

What did you do to your deuce this week?

My pleasure Ahab  Out of all of the various, derelict projects I've ripped out of the ground, this old Deuce is by far my favorite. Truly a joy to easily walk through the same muddy trail I used to sink my diesel pickup truck in. While hauling twice as much firewood in the same trailer

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Between overtime at work and FD business, finally got the Kaiser back on the road and into the woods yesterday. -Got my front axle back together (new zipperless boots, bearings, shaft u joints, and seals) -Replaced the crushed fuel line between the primary and secondary filter -Removed and...

    New guy

I've owned an MV for about 2 months now and it's been a time consuming, yet very rewarding experience so far. Welcome from a fellow newbie. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Trying like **** to get my front axle reassembled so I can begin installing the winch and PTO setup I picked up last weekend. Pretty happy with how lucky I've been getting on finding cheap parts for this thing between local auto-parts stores and the classifieds on this site. Sent from my...

what cordless tool are you using to get your lug nuts off

The newest Milwaukee 1/2 inch drive 18V. Unbeatable. Walks all over my over-priced Snap-On guns. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Unfortunately made of ton of work for myself on Friday night. Wasnt able to recover the truck until this morning so the front axle had plenty of time to fill up with water. Found a sunken tree stump to get the front axle hung up on/crush my fuel lines and knock my primary fuel filter off. 5 days...

    Little Deuce Boot

If it helps at all, Front loading Cement mixers (Oshkosh, Phoenix, etc) have the same type of knuckle design as the Deuce and do not have boots at all. If you're not fording with the truck and keep up on the grease, you should be fine. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
