Hate to admit it, but our search engine (for the software that drives this site) isn't all that good. There. Politically correct without bashing it - even though it is pretty expensive... Most of the time, searching with your favorite search engine and you will be much happier. Example...

Quick look shows some versions of the S280 at about 1600# so my question is are your ramps heavy enough? Should you "block up" the middle of the ramps to support the "weight in the middle?
I'm spoiled rotten having a crane here... I would hate to have your ramps collapse with the shelter...

Chances are the wires were for radios and if they are colored wires, chances are even better that you don't need them. Factory won't have "extra" wiring hanging from the battery terminals...

Company that I worked for back in the 80's welded a flat plate on pallets of new Dog Bones. Deuce and 5-Tons got the same treatment. The metal was "Plug Welded" in a 3/4 inch hole, then quenched in water with the idea that the quench helped keep the rubber from separating from the steel. It...

How good were you?
No FLA's?
Almost as much fun as a Reese Hitch plugged into the back of a (insert vehicle name here) and you roll around the corner in a hurry. That THUNK sound on the chin will bring you to your knees... Almost takes your breath away!

How much fun would it be to sneak up, attach the slings, raise the box and swing right!? Then you might actually have some real excitement when the door was opened. Gotta be good. Lower the box to within a couple feet of the ground so nobody was seriously injured...

The "Closed For Comments" in the TM Section is just to cut down on opinions about the Technical Manuals. Once posted here and the upload is "Closed" that confirms that we have a known good book. AND that it is confirmed to be Approved for public release (distribution).
Lifted from Mike...

Maybe post a picture to know for sure what you are describing. There is a really heavy bar behind the cab that has about an 8x8 inch square tube that pulls out an insert on each side with a big eye. That is how the LMTV's are hoisted onto a boat. Is that what you are talking about? It can...

Welcome to the Outfit!
Don't take it personal when everybody answers up with a NO to your question. That is what this place is all about. Ask a question, Get an answer. Sometimes it isn't as "cut and dried" as this one - but we all enjoy being able to help and steer folks in the right...
