Oh... Bad deal. I had the same thing happen as I clamored into my MK23 about six months ago. Took it to the "fix it store" and it was a couple hundred bucks. Could have bought a used replacement for about the same money. Only advantage was that my data and all my settings were untouched...

Nice looking truck!
Being different isn't a bad thing - and I imagine it starts and runs reliably. Can't run a movie shoot if the vehicle isn't reliable. Enjoy yourself with your new truck...

Welcome to the Outfit!
We definitely need some pictures. We host the TM's (Technical Manuals) for your truck, so haul them down. They are BORING in a big way - but knowing how to start the truck without "smoking" your start box and glowplugs would be time spent in the -10 TM.

Welcome to the Outfit!
Keep us posted with your progress with pictures.
This would be a nice thread to show what you have done. Maybe you can sell some of the parts you have to buy new parts for your "New-To-You" vehicle. Heck, snap a few pictures of the dash plates and maybe we can help...

Aluminum tank, brass cap - and a cap with 4 little metal circles on the top of the cap.
You can get after one of the old caps with a with a wire brush until it shines. Then coat the inside of the cap with a light coating of RTV or something like it. Let it dry for a week...

Remember, you under the truck smashed like a bug is a really bad day.
7 ton stands under the front axles get you the height that you need.

No lack of brain power on your part...
This site doesn't directly host video files. If you put your videos on a YouTube account that you create for yourself - posting a link here will work.

You thought about it and since the bed is already built it shouldn't be a big deal.
I'm thinking that a little common sense is all that needs to be applied.
Good Deal in my opinion...
Snap up and post some pictures when you can

Like @coachgeo suggested, you might get more viability in the FMTV forum. Maybe you want to create a brand new thread there to chronicle your progress. As you go along - but before you get too far along, you need to consider the "Departure Angle" on your box. Looking...

Just don't be disappointed when the NCDMV sends you a letter demanding that they plan to inspect your vehicle. As much as a year after you got a tag. If you ignore their letter, they mail the original title (from who your bought it from). Then you have to go through their inspection process...

Welcome to the Outfit!
I'm guessing by now you have already discovered the TM's (Technical Manuals) section of the site. If not, go exploring and download your version. You posted your plans - but we still haven't seen any pictures. Come on pal... We need pictures :)
You already have...
