Yes. Bought it in April last year.
The title transfer and registration went without issue last year. Only hiccup was a painfully long wait in line but that's normal without an appointment :)
When I went to register it and transfer the title to me I needed to help the ladies at the...
Add me to the list of MV owners in MI that had no issues whatsoever...
I had ZERO problems renewing the registration on my 5-ton earlier this month.

I'll give my thumbs up as well for the torque multipliers.
I picked up a "not so expensive" one from Amazon in preparation even before I got my 923.
After having all 10 wheels off at least once (a couple more than once already to replace axle seals unfortunately) I believe these things are...
I wish...bow season here in MI at the moment. Not a bow hunter so still have to wait a couple of weeks until the 15th for firearm season to open...
She actually showed just as I was finishing buttoning up the axle and getting the 923 ready for a shakedown run to check my handiwork.
She stayed...
Another successful deployment of my 5-Ton Helper this past weekend.
My front passenger-side axle seal this time around leaking GO all over and needed replacement.
Just as with my front-rear axle seal a couple of months ago, the Hub Helper saved the day again (and my back, fingers, arms...). I...
I used a cheap, Harbor Freight 2-ton small trolley jack for my 5-ton Hub Helper and I could not be happier with how it worked. It should work fine for a Deuce.
I removed the factory bolt securing the saddle on the jack and used a short (overkill) grade 8 bolt/oversized washer/nut to attach the...

I use a 200-600 Ft/Lbs Precision Instruments 3/4" Split Beam torque wrench on anything needing torque in that range. (Model PREC4D600F)
It has a reversible head so it can handle both RH and LH threads.
It is accurate, simple to set, very heavy-duty (and weighs a ton) and at 48" in length it...
I don't have an A1 or A2 but I can confirm mine worked perfect on my M923 to change out a leaking inner mid-axle seal over Labor Day weekend.
The helper made the whole job of removing, handling and reinstalling the hub/drum assembly a piece of cake! As suggested, I left the connecting bolt/nut...
I've never been much of a self-promoter but I will give it my best shot on behalf of my big, bad girl here...
I purchased her Easter Weekend this year. She is my first MV.
She's a 1983 M923, Overhauled at Ft. Drum in 2007 and surplussed in 2012. She sat exactly where she was parked after...
Welcome!
I am originally from Lansing but now live in Metro Detroit but my 5-tonner is earning her keep on the family farm in Eagle (NW of Lansing).
I just bought my M923 from Dennis Myers up in Copemish last month and he has a good selection of Deuces on his lot and is a great guy to work...
Thanks, 71Deuce. Good luck.
Luckily here in Michigan you do not need a CDL to own/drive a 5-ton unless you are using it for paid commercial purposes.
She was painted to all desert tan at some point and later had a hasty, almost transparent, green re-shoot done.
The camo hard top is new and...
As requested and as promised, here are pictures of my big girl. A nice, clean, great running truck!
Finally had some good weather over the weekend and the setting sun made for some nice shots out at the farm...
NOTE: Pictures uploaded poorly from my tablet...going to try from my Laptop...
Hi fasttruck.
Thanks for checking with me to help make sure I get a good start. I appreciate it.
Actually, long before I purchased my truck (~2 years or so) I was downloading, reading, studying and becoming familiar with the systems, operation and maintenance of the trucks via all the pertinent...
