The bigger problem I've seen with the LSD is not so much increased wear on IP and injector components, its more the fuel's lower tolerance of long storage times / lesser shelf life / increased susceptibility to gumming up in tight tolerance spaces.
I've seen pumps that have gummed up the plunger...
Hey @Chainbreaker. You are correct about the home made injector adapter. I have one that goes in place of the injector.
If you have access to a lathe and want to make one I can send you the measurements.
Or I can mail you mine and you're welcome to use it and just send it back when done.
A...
So either yard art or scrap weight at this point...
Try searching the internet and Ebay "sold" items to see if there was ever any demand for parts, body panels, anything salvageable that could bring in more than scrap prices?
You're lucky you get paid a little... My family and I volunteer at a...
Looks like the link up above has changed. This is the current link:

Why give up so soon??
I'd at least try abandoning the fuel tank, clean the rest of the fuel system, finish your pre-checks and try to run it off an external fuel tank.
You gotta at least try to get it fired up!
If it explodes, then push it to it's forever Rust-in-Pieces spot.....
Well, that would seem to explain the difference between the 004/005 conversion and the 006.
I know they are not the same.... apparently you have found the difference!
My only additional comment would be that most of the instructions on doing the 004/005 conversion show the buss bar as a separate...
One other minor note, when running your machine you want to set the throttle a little above 60hz. at no load.
Most of us start between 61 and 61.5 at no load, thus dropping to about 59 to 59.5 at full load.
No problem, screen shots are from the -24 general support and maintenance manual.
Table 1-2 calls for 3% on the frequency regulation, so ~ 2Hz droop at full load is about the acceptable range.
If you turn the screw clockwise, decreasing the droop, but then start to find the engine RPM hunting...
Yea, giant sections of missing exhaust will tend to increase noise a little! :ROFLMAO:
Definitely check compression and the injector in that hole. Fingers crossed that the piston doesn't resemble the exhaust pipe!
Droop adjustment is covered in the TM. The screw is located on the front of the fuel rack and is accessed through a plug on the oil filter side of the timing gear cover. You use an Allen wrench ( hex key ) to adjust. If everything checks out fuel delivery wise and there is no smoke when the...
Looking at the specs. I'd say it's probably just a battery storage without a separate internal inverter. Seems it's intended use is for low load ( <2300W ) situations to conserve fuel, not really intended to boost the output of the generator. Maybe the battery adds some additional ( extremely...
Definitely looks fatigued more than corroded etc. IIRC the muffler assembly is all stainless, so fatigue seems more likely...
Only other thought would be perhaps running the set a long time with a stuck open / leaking injector may have led to elevated EGT on that front cylinder??
If so I suspect...
Note, on the dual float assembly the float tube position is adjustable separately from the SAE flange bolt pattern, so you also need to make sure that with the flange oriented correctly, the float assembly should be oriented left to right inside the tank, parallel to the long side of the tank.
