Quite simply Add load
Long answer: wetstacking can be an issue however it doesnt happen overnight. What i do is after an outage or on a periodic basis wire in a set of heaters and let it bake. If you are really concerned that it needs to happen now any heavy load appliance will do ( Bake a...
There is nothing preventing you from :
A. Turning on the generator with line power available
B. Turning the generator on during an outage with the house main in the closed position.
The only thing preventing the generator current from reaching outside of your home is a written procedure of...
You are setting yourself up for a massive injury to yourself or others. To properly feed your house you need at minimum an interlock to prevent generator current from ever leaving your home. Using the generator lugs as a feed through to power your air compressor is a big nono.

I would go over everything you moved and double check connections. Then you need to see what voltage the avr is seeing

I did the single phase conversion on the 005. The same one I did the avr on however the avr mod I did is significantly different than the one you did. Not to mention the single phase conversion I do is a touch different physically (not electrically). So we would be comparing green apples to red...
We recently had a buss bar failure when manually driving object over the track. 400 amps at 480 make a good boom. No injuries btw, just some soiled shorts
First off. Ground Ground Ground.
You might just have way too much inrush. I tried a 003 with a 3 phase motor welder and it did the same thing. Load testing showed the breaker and generator to be just fine, so the inrush was the problem. If it turns out the breaker is failing, Good luck...
This diagram shows 3 phase. But it can be configured as such. I do believe it's important to point out that the field rating is 15 to 100 ohms. The 005 field is 2-4 ohms. Other members have made it work but it is out of spec
The one I've done required 3 aftermarket regulators and some rectifier assembles. I need to find my notes first though. There's another thread here where someone used a single unit, but it isn't within the field windings specs so I can't explain how it's still working.
There is a test procedure for them, they are repairable with some skill. There are some aftermarket replacements that can be used but they require some rework to function
Hey there, Have you downloaded the TMs yet? Theres a link on the header. Filters I buy firm amazon (any parts store should be able to get them)
