    M1101 Fire Set Up

They ride surprisingly well. (Old Fire Finder Radar Trailer modified by Raytheon). I took this setup, full of water and Dawn dish soap, all over rough dirt roads and the ranch itself to agitate the water for a good cleaning inside. Worked very well. (Edit; Picture shows full tank, but the tank...

    CUCV Tran Swap

Post is almost 10 years old. I’m sure it’s long gone by now.

    MEP-002A/003A Frequency Transducer Replacement

Received the new replacement transducer. Question about the wiring. The +- wires are obviously easy to figure out. What about the other two marked L? Original one is marked 1 and 2 Looks like it wouldn’t matter but I’m not sure.

    M1101 Bearing set

I have not. Some on here have done it on the M101A2’s. If they fit on yours, why not. I personally have no interest in using them. I like to have eyes on the parts when adding grease.

    M1101 Bearing set

Don’t hope…….CHECK If you haven’t physically looked at your bearings yet, recommend you do so ASAP. They are probably fine, but lots of examples of trailer looking just fine, and bearing’s are toast with rust and/or no grease, etc.

    M1101 Fire Set Up

Great setup Hard to tell from pics, but it looks like the IBC tote needs secured better to the trailer itself. That’s a lot of water weight and the bouncing around in your area could cause load shifting issues.

    Parts for M1101 Brakes.

It will tell you, but any trailer or tractor supply store will have them in stock.

    Parts for M1101 Brakes.

I edited your Thread title so it helps identify the content.

    Parts for M1101 Brakes.

That appears to be a free-Back unit. Allows trailer to be backed up loaded and it will not apply the brakes as you back up a hill. Dexter makes them. It’s a great system. They also make them as an upgrade to the M101A2-3 trailers so you no longer have to use a lockout pin. Everything you...

    Black Hawk

All it takes is money. What it takes to get one of these legal to fly, let alone to make any money with it, is astronomical. Background checks, pilot training, parts, inspections, overhauls, operating costs, certification's, etc. Yea, auction price is cheap. This one is going for more than...

    M116a1 brake cables?

The TM's for your trailer are free for download on this site. The parts manual will have the part number your looking for. Actually finding the correct ones for sale might be another matter.

MEP-002A Exhaust Question plus Machine Resurrection

I don’t think so. No evidence of it being flooded to be found. It has however, been sitting outside uncovered for years in rain and snow. The panel was probably facing to the SW and would directly catch the spring thunderstorms full fury. What’s the fun in getting a surplus machine that...

MEP-002A Exhaust Question plus Machine Resurrection

Hertz is fine. Have checked with Fluke multimeter and Kill-a-watt device. Gauge is whacked. Has been since day engine first ran. Sometimes it tries to join the party, but not for long before going far right again. As soon as engine is shut down, the needle sweeps all the way to the left. Have...

MEP-002A Exhaust Question plus Machine Resurrection

The Tick is 28v As shown here on a NOS voltmeter for an LMTV/FMTV I have in my parts stash. Either way, the new gauge is reading too high. The original gauge is reading correctly. Agree that most are not super accurate but I don’t want something showing it’s in the red when it’s not even...

MEP-002A Exhaust Question plus Machine Resurrection

Installed new voltmeter Reading too high compared to multimeter Old gauge showing proper reading. Returning new gauge and I reinstalled original one. Think I’ll leave that alone for now.
