I know that here in MA. that Commerce ins and Plymouth Rock ins will cover the HMMWVs. I wish Geico ins would cover it as my other vehicles are all through Geico.

Did you properly shim the starter when you installed the transmission? Are the two bolts on the starter in place along with the rear mount?
When you pull the tranny and pull the starter I would inspect it and bench test it. Misalignment is the main cause of flywheel teeth issues.

Put a drain pan under there and loosen one of the transmission fluid lines a bit and you can get out what you need to from there.
A vampire leak will cause you to lose fluid as it goes places you don't want it to go. My vampire leak turned my air filter into an oil bath system.

I have to wonder if the OP realizes that most of us are on her side in the hopes all his military gear would sell for cheap.
After listening to the video it sounds like you are only in 2nd gear and the fan should stay on like 2 min. Try shifting the gears manually and see if you are shifting properly.

If the plugs burn out over time I believe you have a much better chance pulling them without issue then if the box fails and cooks them. You would be insane to use anything but the mil spec plugs.
