    M35A2 has been sitting for 40+ years…

If possible, try to get some more pics of this M35. I'm curious to see how it looks for sitting for three decades. Can't argue a son and father project. Something like that would definitely hold a lot of sentimental value for generations. We just never know, what may sound like a crap shoot...

Where to buy tire and wheel?

I got a bottle of that AeroSpace rubber conditioner. Cleaned the tires with soap and degreaser. Sprayed it on and let sit for ten mins. Wipe with damp cloth. Tires look brand new, no shine, just a matte finish. Supposed to provide up to 5 weeks of UV protection. I figured one treatment a month...

    Passenger Seat Connecting Link Incorrect?

Mine are the right length, but I bent the driver side bracket when installing so it is very stiff, not on purpose, but by accident. 🤷

    M35A2 has been sitting for 40+ years…

For thirty years? I'd offer $1000 to take it. If the cab and bed is rotted out or certain parts of the frame, use it for a parts truck and buy a deuce that does run. Could make most of your money back by selling parts as well if they are in decent shape. There's always some deuce owners looking...

Deuce no start, have gone thru a few steps already

That's what I would do. Hopefully that works. If your friend wants to own it but does nothing with it, I wonder if he would be willing to sell it. The longer it just sits there, the more rust and rot there is and eventually, not much of a truck or anything of real value left.

    M109A3 Roof Re Skin

Even if adhesive is used, is it possible to get the top and the sides clean enough so it bonds? Not to mention that trailer repair stuff, can be kinda hard or at least from what I've seen on some trailers. I always see it riveted, all the glued patches were missing unless they did a piece on top...

    New to the stable M151A2

Nice M151! I'm curious, but if it came from Germany, or if a vehicle was being sent over seas, wouldn't it have the invasion style star? Unless I'm misunderstanding how that goes 🤷

    About time Andy!

Deuce no start, have gone thru a few steps already

I would definitely change those fuel filters then. If it looks like over creamered coffee, there's a lot of water in that fuel and that alone can keep it from running. Add two to three bottles of HEAT or water remover to it and try your best to stir it to mix it in. I had an issue like that...

MV of the Month September 2022

Geesh, we don't have many nominations here....out of all these members, not even .5% come here to at least try to show off their beloved MV.

I'm guessing the truck did run after you fixed the stuck shutoff switch in the IP? If so, read on, if not, I'd double check the timing of the HH if you completely disassembled it and reassembled it. Pull the injectors out and hook the line back up, then fire over and see if the injector...

How rare are M54s vs M35s?

I know people who have a M54 typically don't want to let them go, or at least one M54 owner has told me once...

Engine repair or swap to LDS?

The best you can do is align the wear pattern on the side.of the bearing that closet matches the crank. Whether the bearing is now on top of on bottom shouldn't make any difference as it'll ride in the same groove so to speak, but if switched so the worn section on the bearing is facing a clean...

Engine repair or swap to LDS?

Should be able to tell by the wear pattern, the bearing should match the crank journal. I did the same thing, took a while to match the tiny little wear patterns.

I'll say this, normally I like to cruise 55mph, but occasionally I'll go 60. This past Saturday, on the interstate, heading towards OH from MI, two sections along I-96 and one section along US-23 was absolutely terrible with patch work. I had to slow down to 50 and a couple times 45mph, the...

Engine repair or swap to LDS?

Definitely looks like some wear, but is that bad? I won't say yes and I won't say no. I don't have the expertise to say if that crank needs attention or not, but if that engine ran smooth before you dug into it,I have no reason to believe it won't continue to run smoothly once it's running...

Engine repair or swap to LDS?

The bearings look good to me. Better than the bearings I had and was looking at in my old multi-fuel. Mine had the polished metal part worn off with a brass looking sheen showing under it, which from my understanding was a lot of wear. The pits I don't think affect anything. What's really...

The oil pan feels like a 12-10 gauge steel maybe more? It's been a while but I remember having it off it was quite the pan. I would assume you could weld it as long as the steel being welded on can be molded properly to fit and the setting for the welder is correct to not just burn through it. I...

My mud truck build bad 395/85/20 tires?

That is definitely one heck of a mudding rig!
