    Light bar!

Rooftop lights always has it's use, but there's no harm in adding more lights, especially up front on the bumper or brush guard if there's one. More options for the given task and conditions. At least the front lower mounted lights tend to shine more on the ground to reduce that "curtain" that...

    Light bar!

I just googled "Humvee with off road lights" under the images tab and that's how I found that light bar mount.

    Light bar!

I don't know if anything for the H1 is universal with the military humvee when it comes to body dimensions, but I did find this if it may be of interest, very similar to Andyrv6av8r, for the price,it may be worth it, or at least what's posted on here will give some good reference on a diy set up...

MV of the Month August 2022

So what's going on here? No update on voting and campaigning? I'm guessing either we're waiting for more entries or someone is 😴 on the job! 🤪

    anyone swaped a m35a2 d type turbo to a c type

I agree, smells like a mobile deep fryer. I always loved that smell too, made me hungry sometimes as well! Lol

    Light bar!

I used some 5' slotted angle irons and bolted through pre-existing holes in the cab. I thought about the windshield frame, which would work with bolts rather than sheet metal screws. Add some washers between the frame and the angle iron so it will have clearance to not butt up against the button...

    Light bar!

I ran into this issue with my deuce. Finding a good place to mount extra lights was more difficult than I anticipated, especially when running a soft top and not drilling a bunch of holes everywhere. Where are you wanting to mount the light bar? I know you said the front, but not sure if you're...

M35A2 Multifuel Stalling At High Rpm

Been there done that, lol. Anytime the truck surges or loses power/stalls when more fuel is needed, it's always been the fuel filters. I run wmo as well, so as a good preventative maintenance program, I change the fuel filters (all 3) when I do an oil change. Typically 2-3 times per year, but...

Can't get the engine to idle

The deuce isn't so much unable or incapable, it's just a different kind of animal. I've taken mine off on trails all the time, mud bogs, and to Haspin Acres once so far. It's definitely not a side by side or tuned up Wrangler, and yes, lots of trails are too tight or narrow for a deuce. However...

    Hot in Arizona

Sounds like the coolant system is really dirty. Like another said, I would do a very, thorough flush on the engine and the radiator. The aftermarket radiator doesn't worry me, but the fact it had mud looking coolant come out and the electric fan that is or isn't there, that's also concerning...

Can't get the engine to idle

Like others have said, it's not for everybody and that's okay. You had a bad experience, completely understandable. That why I tell those who are new to MV's to buy one that runs well. This way they can drive it for a while and enjoy it before repairing or maintenance because everyone has to...

    M35a3 can wheels be flipped?

From how the tank looks centered in the truck, I don't think you'll have a problem tipping over if that's the concern. I carry a full IBC tote and 5 barrels of wmo in the back of my truck all the time and even while trail riding, it's never felt off set in and out of ditches or ravines, though...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Finally got around to installing my off road lights. I've had them on hand for over a year as I planned to install them on my pickup truck (except for my military lights which I had to modify since these were a spot light). The deuce just seemed to be the better candidate. I only needed wire...

Overthinking things again - Grease - Wheel bearings

The lighter or thinner types of grease may be better for those who live in colder climates and the opposite for hotter climates. I'll see how mine hold up, as my wheel bearings have airplane type grease. All I can say so far is that my hubs have never been hot, just warm, no matter how long I've...
