Why go through the expense of that? The temp will hit 220, the fan comes on for a bit and drops the temp. It happens all the time when the engine comes to a decent running temp and you keep it under load. This is an engine that uses compression and heat to ignite the fuel.
So what I didn't mention after I posted the video of taking the M998 to the Hillman MudFest was that I managed to break the u-joint for the front driveshaft on the transfer case... When that went, the axle took out the t-case shift linkage and put a new permanent drain in the t-case.
So if...
Same here on the trailer fender width. Load it up, the tire sidewalls will flex before the fenders. Get it home and perform your maintenance for mud season is upon us!
Probably the fastest HMMWV with a stock engine. That is for ones that are not being airlifted or airdropped. Those ones in Germany were moving way faster on their way down.

So while outside I...
I bid on a truck. It listed 37 inch rubber but the pics showed 36. No biggie. I knew the difference.
It didn't have pics of inside the bed and it was a covered 2 man. I gambled and assumed the rear seats were completely missing but they were there. Yay!
I saw in the pics the alternator was...
How about a MV owners only Saturday April 23rd lunch at the drive a tank location? I'd love to bring the M998 down with the HMC-MIL-1 strapped in the back to keep some ice cream and other things cold for a little jaw jacking and check out the variety of rigs that people have. If someone can...
So for Rivnut choices, do you use aluminum when in aluminum and steel with steel or just go with steel. There seems to be a mixed consensus when researching.
