Tank Depot charged a ridiculous shipping fee per unit and didn't reduce it if you bought more than one. Apparently if you call them you might talk them in to discounting the shipping for multiple units.

I have a tractor readilly available but I have never understood the reasoning of running a $60,000 tractor to produce the same power output as my $2000 MEP803A. I know prices have come up since I bought it but not enough for it to make sense.

I found the remnants of a paper shop towel clogging the oil screen on my engine. I cleaned the screen about 6 or 7 times and changed the oil 3 times before I got it cleaned out. It made me think that these generators are a PITA to the troops and maybe they sabotage them.

That oil line was only finger tight on my 15 original hour 803A. I just had to tighten it.

LTD I had the same thing a few years ago. It is a common problem in my profession. I tried all the non surgical stuff with no improvement I finally gave in and had endoscopic surgery on both hands. Just 2 small incisions per hand. The relief was immediate.

My 803A had the well nut pulled out of the drain hole so the tank would drain. That is pretty lazy but easily fixed. Drilling a hole is just unnecessary and stupid. If the intent was to get rid of the generator there are smarter ways of doing it that don't leave evidence of sabotage.

I use the dual Noco 12V chargers on my 831A. I was concerned about disconnecting the batteries to charge and was advised by Kurt that if the plug doesn't have the ground prong you don't have to disconnect. If my memory is wrong I'm sure Kurt will correct me.
