Re torqued everything, installed lonk out hubs, lengthened drag link, gear oil and test drive. I think we did good. 70mph no issues, needs new shocks and steering stabilizer and put on rack to check alignment but I think it's really close. My son was a life saver by helping out.
Never out grew The little engine that could I guess. Didn't like the mis match tires too. Looks tacky.

My son and I use cb but have swapped to gmrs (the little boufooo hand helds) I use my intercom and headset on both and works pretty well. But,that's not MV this is our first gathering of the green. New cb and not sure if I'll have it up n going but have hand held cb. Issues with steering...
Coming along. Up late last night. Spartan locker, inner axles with new ujoints and spindle housings in place. After breaking my 7/8 wrench with the cheater pipe, I decided the existing king pins were in perfect shape and had no wear:LOL: but new bushings, bearings, seals and high steer.
You never know ha. Figured if you came Thursdaywith the southwind we could head down Fri with a north one hehehe.

It has been my experience since I started with our adventures in my FJ40 that as soon as I pull out of the drive the wind automatically changes direction to have to buck a gale force head wind. And for some reason has the foresight to know when I am heading home to do the same. Acceptance ha!
No I haven't yet. I was actually looking at utub last night trying to get info. I have a mount on the back right with an antenna but it's too short and don't think a 102" will work that low because of the metal box. I saw an LMTV at the local guard and it was mounted using same bracket but up...
Ordered all my rebuild parts for the DANA 60 swap, supposed to be here next week. Hopefully get it installed before we go to MV rally in College Station TX on the 25th. Making mounting bracket for my new CB and old intercom. Also got a switch bank for the back cabin.
