Oh make sense, how does it works? I have an underdash A/C with the electric compressor, the only problem is I had to wire the compressor to a toggle switch because it wouldn't come on when it was wired into the evaporator sending wire.
It just wants to sleep after being woke for 7 days. Jokes aside, did you check if the glow plugs are actually cycling? It could be something as little as a burnt out light bulb
I have a BRDM which is the equivalent size that I may do the swap on, it weighs close to 8 tons. I'm looking into getting the built NV4500 from CPPdiesel. They claim its an extreme duty transmission with hardened gears and the 5th gear nut improved. It shouldn't be that hard of a swap, the 4...
I get that a stock one won't hold up, but there's some companies that build these to handle extreme loads and power which should hold up pretty well in the M35
Has anyone every done the NV4500 in the M35? It seems like it'll be a very good option. The NV4500 is around the same size as the spicer 5 speed and have a .75 overdrive over the spicer .85, I get that it's not a medium duty transmission, but there's so many built NV4500s with hardened gears and...
Hello, Im wondering is there a way to completely delete the whole CTIS valve? reason I want to do this is because the whole piece is stripped inside 3 of the 6 valves I got, I find it more easier to just get rid of the whole valve if possible rather than fighting to get the broken piece out or...
It ended up being the thermostat gasket I put on was leaking.
For the heating situation, I tested it with a thermometer and it seems like the gauge or sender unit is inaccurate, it was showing as 220 and kicking the fan on when the thermometer was at 160.
Okay Im back on this again, I have the aluminum wheels on the tires, which side does the adapter plate go on and is it different in the rear?
(can't believe how much easier it is to remove aluminum wheels over the steel LMTV ones from the tires)
I know, old thread, but I'm finally getting around to getting these tires on, I just have to swap the wheels out.
What RPMs do you have at 60Mph? Im going with the same MRAP rims and adapter plates but the goodyear tires
I'm lucky to do 70 in mines with the 4 speed, although I have a big blocky top on the back that increases drag by quite a bit. I'm thinking about going with 40s next to increase the top speed a little. I already have a 2 inch suspension lift in the corner that's waiting to be installed
This is one heck of a unit! I wish waterloo was still building M35s and making kits for the truck, especially the overdrive but I came too late to the party.
It shouldn't be that hard to find someone that would ship a non running a humvee, try uship, I had a non-running BRDM shipped on there. Only part that was difficult is we needed a wrecker to get it off the trailer and into a storage unit.
