    The silicone half blocking your return as you described was probably a bigger deal than some people might think, the oil flow back from the turbo has to be unobstructed or it will pool up and push out past an otherwise decent seal .

    I've had a few R6's, I absolutely love them, they're an incredibly nimble little piece of equipment, so are the Zukes, just not into the fake Harleys but to each his own . Love that this has turned into a bike thread 😀, we need one . (If we have one I'm unaware).

    In between the bottom of the turbo and the oil pan there's about a 3/4 or 1" in diameter drain back tube, if it's plugged for any reason whatsoever oil is going to find a way out, even out of a good seal .

    Make sure your oil drain back to the pan is clear, I've seen people put rags or paper towels in them during assembly and then forget to remove them, and it'll cause exactly the problem you're having

    Like mentioned, drop the pan (not a big deal) give rods a visual inspection wiggle test, you may have just one or two that have a problem . If you don't see or feel anything obvious, then start pulling rod caps and a couple main caps and see what you have . You may get lucky and catch things...

    I personally recommend this method, it will save a lot of arguing, it's a lot more fun and you won't get hassled by the popo .

    I personally would not consider any of that scrap, if you need even one part out of that case, be it a gear, shaft, output flange, shift fork or the case itself, there is going to be no substitute . As for that complete case I bet if I needed it somebody would want a lot more than a hundred...

    There's a jointed shaft that comes off of the output, you can move it up down left right wherever you want and mount your pump wherever you like, fits under mine just fine, it's an M50A2 . I'm sure there are better choices, but it can definitely be made to work, all it has to do is turn a pump .

    If you can find a transfer case out of an old M49 or M50 fuel/water truck, they have a rear facing PTO output built into the T-case . Some people have them and don't even realize it .
