And if that doesn't work get a bigger hammer !
Applying a moderate amount of heat with a propane torch isn't going to hurt anything and it definitely will help, sounds like you need a couple pair of the big channel locks
There is no such thing as what you're describing on an old Deuce, I can't think of a reason in a world why anyone would want or need it .
Not one time have I ever tried to start my deuce while It was running 😄
So, I was thinking ...
Possibly a minty feller could undo the main feed line from the master, apply an air hose with air pressure, open the bleeders, or better yet just remove them, and blow out all of anything that is in the system except for air itself .
Do the rear section seperate from the...
Also if you're in a pinch and just needed to get it from the back 40 up to your shop, I have used an expendable screwdriver before heated it up smeared the plastic around and sealed the hole .
Why ?
I'm sure this has been covered, abstractly, several times over the last 20 years, so if you know why, can you break it down for me, please ?
Because I'm not convinced .
When you go to change that primary fuel filter/water separator and everything disintegrates, get this filter boss and a filter like this one and be done with that old thing, the original fuel lines hook right up to this boss
The locker does not know what transmission is in front of it, it's YOUR driving technique that allows it to go smoothly through a corner, or all Herky jerky .
If your truck is going to spend most of its life on asphalt, then take the locker out of the rear, and lock up the front instead with...
I inadvertently discovered that you can see that unbelievably annoying buzzer from the passenger floor, it has one wire, it goes straight up to the bottom of the buzzer .
It's pretty much in the center of the firewall, wire came off pretty easy, absolutely by far the best mod I ever made to my...
Feed the inlet of your injection pump with clean air free fuel via an elec pump from a jug .
If you get it running and the problem goes away then you know its getting air from in between the inj pump and the tank, the lift pump is often the culpret or old crappy fuel lines/fittings
With an...
Bet good money Its a 6x6, it sets tall, has the tall tires and weird rims, and that front rear axle is up close to the door, or where a door would be, leaving room for the tandem out back, something has to go under that long box to hold it up and it sure isn't that axle behind the driver's door
I would think that pushing hard on your brake pedal is asking more of the pump to run the hydoboost, so maybe it's crapping out on you or has a plugged return filter
You can put in most any engine you want as long as it fits in the hole and has a SAE bellhousing on it .
There's a Canadian dude on YouTube that shoved a 454 in his truck, there's a couple of other guys on YouTube that have also shoved other engines in their trucks .
Midsize trucks like the...
I fired it up and let it run for a bit to get the juices flowing, speaking of which my oil pressure didn't jump staight up with the spin on filter swap like I have heard, it's only slightly quicker .
I made a vid of my grandson doing crazy 2 yo stuff while the truck ran in the background .
tie6044 has them, so does jatonka, they are both on here just shoot em a message .
I have bought from both .
Tie6044 also sells his on Fleabay under same name
This one is thick black plastic, not fiberglass .
I have seen many of the glass ones
I saved it for years cuz a buddy wanted it, but he sold his Deuce so it's mostly likely going to go DTR .
Here is the only pic I could find of the top in action, I believe it has been molded which is quite the process, it's surprising I can't find any info on this .
I even asked Big Mike and he said he'd never seen one like it .
