I think you already posted that quite a few are still operational, how many like that does the Russian military maintain?
1) Grab a beer. Cry in it. Finish the beer.
2) Fill a tall glass with cool clear water.
3) Drink it down.
4) Roll up the sleeves, walk back into the garage, and go to work!

"Some assembly required" is the price to pay for any worthwhile project, and this one looks well worth it!
Checking the pics and happened to notice the sport boat on the trailer -you know, a drift and all, please forgive this- but:
- What you got, ski boat? Fishing skiff?
I hear you. It's like you're looking for excuses not to commit to that first hole, you just got that feeling of impending disaster....
But then 3-4 holes into, ALL good!!
You can never be sure any label is accurate, but the thought there is sure helpful:
- Labelling what is going on for the "next guy", that has to deal with the install

What kind of lumber is that clear-grained tropical looking wood at the seating/ sleeping area (the 2x material)?
