Just learned that developing the B-29 was the most expensive U.S war project of WWII (outspent the Manhattan Project even, apparently).
Pretty amazing that the B-17 started the war (developed sometime in the 30's if I recall it right, 1939?), and the B-29...
Looks expensive to maintain.
Maybe you all should give up the military hardware and just stick with the Lies-and-Laptops.
It's working pretty good, right?
Here's what's helping me cope:
- My mother was a French war bride after WWII, she lived in Paris through (4) years of German Occupation
She didn't like talking about it, but she got through it, and I saw her happy years (after having lived through that nightmare).
So that's carrying me now...

I had a basement bathroom at the house renovated recently. The original homeowner had evidently done the job themselves:
- There was a U-Bend in the sanitary line, but run horizontal instead of vertical
