Unknown wires on backside of + terminal.

If you are referring to the blue wire, typically wires with colors have to do with items that are removed during the demilitarization process.

    Best Source for X-Door Glass?

There was a thread talking about this problem where they would remove the inner plastic laminate, and the windows were clear. That option would be free. You need to carefully remove the inner plastic laminate and then enjoy your windows. The purpose of that inner plastic laminate is to prevent...

Hello, my name is Mike and I have a HMMWV problem

Hi Mike. I have the same addictions. You will need to stand up and present at meetings occasionally. Eventually you will try to collect all 12 medallions. The first step is recognizing you have a HMMWV addiction/problem. The next step is growing that addiction into a full blown lifestyle. 😆...

    It's alive!!!

Compression check the radiator and check for water in new oil! Fill up the hubs as well as the transfer case and tranny and power steering and radiator fluid (only old school ethylene glycol and nothing that says new cars or long lasting). Brakes take only DOT 5, not DOT 3 or 4 and definitely...

    OEM Air Conditioning Troubleshooting

On my m1165 and my m1151-1 alls I did was add R134a. Takes a huge amount. On the M1165 the clutch didn’t move until I added half a 20 oz. can of r134. Rear blows cold. Front blows hot. I guess I need to look into stuck heater valve.

M1097R1 -- some leak, what to check?

That could be anything. Overflow from power steering fluid got blown there and did that to me. Cold be leaking power steering line also. Leaking oil cooling line is also in that side. If you spilled oil it could be that too. I like to pressure clean engines and look for leaks when everything...

Log of… a whole hodge podge.

Might have figured out why this mint new M1151 went to auction… The rear of the slantback is dented forward several millimeters, making open and closing the unit difficult. Literally the only thing I see that is out of order. A few seconds with a chain and I’ll get it straighter than that video...
