11:00x20 duals on Deuce with snow chains

Not enough inside clearance on 11.00x20 duals (deuce) to run tri-rail (dually chains) I just wanted to chime in here, the real issue with dually chains (tri-rail chains) on a deuce running 11.00x20 (in dual) is the distance between the inside sidewall of the inside tire and the suspension. I...

    East Coast Snowmegedden 2016

Also something I was reminded of when suggesting a load of firewood for traction weight in a pickup..."Whatever you put in the bed is coming out violently in the event of an accident onto you and or others around you".

5 ton Bobsled, Recovery assistance near Berkeley Springs WV

Yeah one of the blessings of living in farm land, there's always a friendly farmer nearby if you need some real power like skidding your Ford escort into the 30th deep ditch full of water *whistling* :)

5 ton Bobsled, Recovery assistance near Berkeley Springs WV

Saw a snow plow get pulled out of the ditch in front of our house this morning in a very similar situation. A BIG John Deere field tractor with plow and lots of wheel weights and front end loader with chains just spun....no traction. They finally got him out with two wreckers, not because of...

    carbon monoxide!

Yeah actually I was thinking about wiring up a home one in a vehicle but I wonder if they would be too sensitive. Probably not calibrated to have the occasional puff of exhaust.

    carbon monoxide!

Guys he came back and apologized ^^^ we all make mistakes, good to see someone big enough to admit to them if you ask me. Back to the thread, it's been a good wakeup call for me, I'll be working on putting CO detectors in the shop now.

Breton Industries - a source for new manufacture mil-spec cargo covers

I would think that if enough people were interested at this price point, we could probably coordinate a group-by and have an NE member do a bulk pickup and work out distribution. Just a thought.

Breton Industries - a source for new manufacture mil-spec cargo covers

Also, no full price sheet available, they will do 1 off quotes as requested due to "material cost fluctuations".

Breton Industries - a source for new manufacture mil-spec cargo covers

Well they dont list trailers on the site, but that doesnt mean they dont manufacture them. I emailed last night and got a quote first thing in the morning. Here is what they show on the site:

Breton Industries - a source for new manufacture mil-spec cargo covers

I found Breton Industries last night as a supplier of new manufacture canvas covers for the military and asked for a price quote for a tri-color camo M35 cover. I've seen some (limited) talk about them on the board, but figured I'd post the quote they gave: NOS covers are going for $800 -...

Multifuel Cab heater (flame style) information request (part numbers)

I've searched and read several really good threads on these units including this one which I've bookmarked. However most of them are dedicated to troubleshooting them and there is confusion on which PN's are being discussed. What I'm still unclear on are the part numbers and models. I know...
