Anyone have a spare low speed blower motor resistor (located under the dash) for M35/M54/M809 series trucks?
Big Mike's and Erik's seem out of stock. Thanks.
Mine looked like the OP's. I bought metal fin comb and straightened them out. Yes, it was tedious. The metal fin comb worked through it just fine though.
I'm not seeing them now.
Pardon the hijack- My engine surged noticeably a few days ago. I'm preparing for a fuel pump replacement/rebuild (just in case).
I have an old truck that was re-engined with a 6.5L in 2005 (doesn't mean that the engine is 2005) . I still have the 3LE80.
Which pump...
I strongly disagree. While economical with his words, Wes has provided more accurate information here and via YT "how-to" videos than most members here. He's busy, he runs a business. He doesn't suffer fools gladly and he's not here to provide "validation" for people's bad ideas. Not everyone...
I made my annual trip for pellet fuel in the M813. This time I brought along a visiting friend from Britain who is a WWII militaria junkie.
He absolutely loved it saying "It's much less agricultural than I expected." LOL. He thought the truck drove very smoothly.
Threading that beast...
I love the unusual, the esoteric and the historic. I'm glad you're taking on this project.
I've seen some weird, experimental stuff on this forum and it's awesome.

You can buy a spare set of hubs and "de-spline" them but frankly, I'd just leave the whole thing alone.
Why would you buy a bull just to cut his...
I now have this strong urge to buy an old M109 or M820 and wrap it in U-Haul livery.

I have a crushed gravel driveway and the weeds have been aggressive this year. I also have honey bees and chickens so thanks for the tip on salt and vinegar.
Does silicone stand up to the road heat? I feel like RTV or gasket maker might do better? I know we're not talking about engine temperatures of hundreds of degrees but...

I live on the very northern fringe of The Land of Pleasant Living. If I turn north on Route 2, it's deep blue territory and I am shall we say..."not appreciated?"
If I turn south, it's friendly waves and horn toots everywhere I go.
I've posted plenty of photos of my trucks in previous threads. They're very vanilla and haven't changed since the last time I posted photos so you're not missing anything.
I fire them up regularly to keep them exercised and lubricated but I don't drive them as much as I used to due to fuel...
Last weekend I hosted a beach party and reunion for my MIUW unit (see my avatar).
We have a tiny, community beach in my neighborhood at the end of my street which is sort of the venue that we used to operate in when my unit existed.
Around 20 people attended. I parked my M813 and M998 at the...
