    Singled out 5-Ton Lugnut Fix

Not sure that was all necessary, I just put the rim on like you have it then secure it on with the closed end lug nut. What issue were you referring to?

Are Runflats worth trying to save???

No I mean runflat, not just a beadlock. I've got a handful of 395's with them in it. I think they came off an aluminum 10 hole rim with a larger center than the regular 5 ton rim. And I believe the rim is hub centered not lug centered.

Are Runflats worth trying to save???

I think they would be helpful if you got a flat to get to a good spot to change it, like off a major road. I don't think you would ruin your tire by driving on one at a slow speed, they have so much tire goop in them to keep them slippery that I think it would hold up just fine. I had to drive a...

Are Runflats worth trying to save???

I have some 395's that have runflats in them and was wondering if there is a market for them or should I just cut them to get them out? They need to come out because there is a lot of crud in the tire and it is too hard to clean with the runflat in it. Otherwise I am trying to come up with a...

Custom 2.5 ton Rockwell Double Beadlocks

The rim itself is not really a double beadlock unless you install the internal beadlock inside the tire, right? Nonetheless it looks great!

I'm heading there tomorrow but I can't round up another driver, otherwise you can store it at my place in Blaine for however long you want.

Break tire bead by lowering deuce on tire?

Tractors is right, if it's an A3 there is probably an internal beadlock so you really aren't separating the tire from the rim you are actually separating the rim half from the tire. Driving on it could wreck the beadlock. I bought a duckbill hammer and it was the best investment I made for tire...

    WMO Power surge

If a gasket is sucking air wouldn't it also leak fuel?

    tire bolts not coming off

That video is pretty cool to see how the heat transfers but heating lug nuts is producing no where near the heat of welding, especially welding at the bead. The tractor tires on my mud truck in my avatar had deuce centers welded in and we never even dismounted the tires. It was just the center...

    tire bolts not coming off

Just heat them up with a torch then hit them with the impact. Then when you re-install make sure you use anti-seize on them for easier future removals.

Recovery of 817 dumper from Sparta Wisc.

DR, ya I guess after rethinking it I would not refer to it as raw fuel, rather the result from pushing so much through it.

$1.00 Dollar a gallon, Recycled ATF from the local 10 minute oil change

Hey Don, too bad you don't have something like a 1200 gallon tanker truck, you could have really scored a huge deal

Recovery of 817 dumper from Sparta Wisc.

Raw fuel comes out black, that's why guys with tuners turned up on their pickup diesels blow a lot of black smoke.

Recovery of 817 dumper from Sparta Wisc.

I always thought white smoke from a diesel was bad, then again, I'm no mechanic and don't claim to be.
