    Iowa? Bobbed Deuce Mods

I've done one before and it turned out great but even I might be a little far for you.

    Minnesota MV laws

Ya check with your local city ordinances, if I remember correctly you can not park a truck with "Y" plates on a city street overnight and of course stay off the parkways or anywhere else you see the "no trucks" signs. I don't know of any state laws regarding restrictions on former military...

    Mud Bog Help

I agree, the stock tires are very poor in the mud but with limited horsepower and non-aggressive tread you shouldn't brake anything. The truck in my avatar, now that's a different story.

M51 dump Multifuel to Gasser conversion

    Mack Motor Demand

I've got a lot of deuce stuff too, maybe someone on the trip might need something delivered to help cover fuel costs

    Mack Motor Demand

Here are a couple pics. The rear output shaft is broke but it goes backwards. Makes finding a parking spot or turning around rather interesting! Probably not a usable body panel on it but seems to run good, at least in reverse!

    Mack Motor Demand

I'm going to go pick it up today! I'll post some pics when I get back. One question I have (slightly off topic) is if the t-case rear output shaft is broke should the truck still drive assuming the front part is fine? I'm not driving it home, just onto my trailer.

    Mack Motor Demand

Wow, I guess I thought there would be more similarities to the deuces or other 5 tons. Oh well, I think I might get it and hope for a buyer for the motor and t-case after I get the axles out.

    Mack Motor Demand

Is there much of a demand for Mack engines? I have done a lot of reading on the older 5 tons and from what I have learned they are a very desirable motor but there are not a lot out there. The reason I ask is I found an M54A1C that is in VERY rough condition outside from being used in the woods...

How do you know what sender you have?

    Deuce alternator dead

I learned that the hard way a while back, I used to jump my deuces to move them around and one had no batteries in it, well it didn't take long for that alternator to fry. All that voltage built up with nowhere to go will burn out the alternator. If he is near you and needs a replacement shoot...

    Help at Ft. McCoy

Those trucks have been sitting for a long time, the last two I picked up had some fuel leak issues, better give it a good looking over before making a trip that far.

Cab top with gun cut out were to get ?

I've got a couple I wouldn't mind selling but you'd probably have to ship it by truck.

    air pressure problem

I just fixed this same type of problem on a truck of mine, in my situation it turned out to be one of the short air lines for the air assist. I could not hear it leaking when I shut the truck off but when I sprayed it with some soapy water I had a bubble bath going! Napa was able to make me a...

    Weight of Deuce parts

This place I do. I haul scrap from work which I weigh on a certified scale so I know how much I'm hauling in my deuce and they are always right on with the weights.

    Weight of Deuce parts

Well I just brought a standard deuce box to the scrap yard today and they said it weighed 1400 lbs with the tailgate on. Sounds about right, my 763 bobcat will lift one with some counter weight on the back since it sticks off the forks so far. If they were over 2000 lbs (like I thought they...

    preventable rear suspension failure

You're right, I didn't blow up the pics so I missed that. But it is something to keep in mind on this part and the axle spindles, I've seen it on a handful of axles.

    preventable rear suspension failure

I agree that you only need one tab bent down to hold the outer nut in place. I think what might have happened is the inner single tab on the washer that slides in the slot on the spindle may have been bent or broke. I have seen it before when going through axles, if that tab is broken the two...

    M35a3 wheel o-rings

FYI-if you send money through Paypal as a "gift" they don't take any fees out for either party.
