Thanks cattlerepairman. I'll look this morning and try to determine if it's an item that can be replaced. I have a feeling that I'm going to be stuck trying to fabricate something.

I'll get out the mirrors and inspection camera for a closer look tomorrow. I don't see that listed as a separate part in the -24P and I see no evidence of external spot welds or rivets.
Here's a better photo of another truck. The tab that the arrow points to is sheared off cleanly on my drivers door. Years of being thrown open and bounced off of the stop must have taken it's toll.
I have all of the TM's. The rod and rubber stop isn't the issue. I have spares and even found the original down inside of the floor vent. If you compare the first and second photo you can see that the small bracket that protrudes from inside of the door is broken off clean. There is no longer a...
After staring at my Deuce sitting in the shop for far too long I'm back at it and starting to go over her from end to end. Out of all of the usual things I expected to find I've only run across two actual issues. Slow release of the brakes (although they work perfectly) and what is shown in the...
Same here. 14 days and multiple unanswered emails. The day that I was going to call my CC company and dispute the charge I received a tracking number. Still no parts. First and last for me too.
Kicking this one back up for input. Does anyone have any experience with the Deestone D501 NDT's? Do they run true to size? I'm just not finding anything on them other than a few old post on Jeep size tires on a couple of the Australian boards.
I've been trying to read more about this. Has the issue been mostly with the Humvee owners and the data plate on the dash? I had no problem at all with my M35A2C but I had a title.
That's the conclusion I came to late last night. Almost looks like someone may have tried to tie an intercooler into the system. Looks like it's a moot point as the seller is overpriced and doesn't want to start the engine for me.
Ran across an LDT 465-1D. Looking at the data plate it's the same contract number as my current engine. No info on the build date as I'm waiting for a clearer photo of the data plate. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to have stored very well.
What struck me as odd was the intake elbow and turbo...
Thanks rustystud. So it sounds like I was on the right track with it being the check valve between the tanks. Nice to know that I'm not starting the season out chasing a ghost.
I'm wondering if it could be the check valve between the tanks? Maybe as one tank bleeds down slightly the check valve lets out a small puff of air towards the tank with the lower pressure. After sticking my head right up by the ends of the tanks it sure sounds like that's where the sound is...
It's an odd one for sure. It's not an external release of air. Definitely inside of a metal line. I've placed my hand on every fitting and no air is being released at any of the tank fittings. It seems that the metal lines and the tank body are amplifying the sound. It's so slight that the gauge...
Fired the truck up from its winter slumber this morning. Popped right of and everything seems good to go. Shut her down and walked back into the office. That's when I heard it. It sounded like a timed release of air in a hard line. I walked back out in the shop thinking something was going on...
