If you are tall/big the deuce can be tight. I'm 6'3" and I have to lean my head over a bit to see around or under the wiper motor at the top of the windshield. Secondly, my knee will hit the steering wheel before my foot is over the clutch or brake, so I have to lean my leg against the door to...
Whenever I see a hitch inside of a boxed bumper, I see fingers being amputated. I know someone that at a 1980s truck that had that style of bumper, and the cargo shifted on the trailer so that the trailer popped up when he reached in to unlock the hitch. It basically cut off his index finger...
I'm 6'3", so the deuce was fairly tight for me. Mainly the length between the top of the clutch petal and the bottom of the steering wheel was less then my leg (thus I had to lift my knee to the side of the rather large steering wheel to get my foot on the pedal).
If no one chimes in, I...
Curious, how much room is there in the FLU419 vs an M35a2 deuce?
I know that although I can sit up in a deuce, I have to lean over a bit to see under the wiper motor. Plus the steering wheel to seat ratio is tight. I usually have to lean my knee toward the door so I can lift it past the...

I'm planning a M931 A2 build with a 106 box mounted on the back. That is basically a 8x12 box, so you would need to be creative to sleep 4 with a bathroom and kitchen.
I would be a little concerned about driving over uneven terrain (I.e., turning into a gas station that has a slopped drive), and the frame flexing and causing the added truss work to hit the hard top.
It looks like the hard top is bent in a bit where it has hit in the past.
Just my first...
I haven't had an issue on my m931a2. How long does your truck sit between uses? Curious if I've just been lucky, or if I move my truck more.
Mine sits in the open and we had a lot of rain over last fall, but our summers are very dry.
I titled and than registered my m931a2 with the sf97 at the denton County tax office last year with no issues. I registered it as a FMV with plates.
Did you attempt to title it or just register it off the sf97?
