When I changed the boots on my m52a2 one was full of grease and one had grease in it but not running out this boot is fine and the over full one is needing replaced again . I plan to take them a part and clean the way excess grease out .

I bought a 2 inch wrench used a grinder to open it to 2 1/4 . then when I could not get it any tighter I used a punch and a hammer to snug it to the next hole for the cotter pin . it is something I watch it has not loosened up .
I looked in one of my manuals to get these weights . You may have to strip it down to find out ?

A few years ago I towed ( Area 52 ) M54A2 with my M52a2 through town to his house .It was not bad I had one sharp turn leaving the county road I though the m54a2 would push my tractor to the side but it did not I skidded the m54a2 front end over it pulled right along after the turn .
