Good evening all. I am searching for a replacement fuel filler hose for my M1031. I a relplacement NOS hose is no longer available, does anyone have part numbers for a replacement hose and filler neck? Thank you in advance for your help!

Over the years I have also found that coca cola in a bowl will clean the circuit board very wel. Rinse in clean water, let it dry and use dielectric grease.

Well, school has started. So my time to play in the shop is growing is growing scarce. Made good progress today. I am trying very hard while sanding to not get down to metal. Moderate success… but finished the rough sanding of both doors, removed both doors and finished priming the brush guard.

This time they used jeep tie down data plates to repair the cab corners.

Good evening all. A lot of good progress made lately. the M1031 truck box come back from sandblasting tomorrow. got a lot of work done learning to sand and paint this weekend. replacement cab corners and floor pans are ordered. Amazing what was used for body repairs by the Army

Thanks for the input. I agree with you. For now, i will change the hoses and bleed the system. I will have the rotors turned and new pads( there is a squeal when braking.

Thanks for the input. question. If the system has not been opened, should I bother replacing any thing other than the hoses and then bleed system with fresh dot 5?

The weather here is not good today. But, at the next opportunity will be looking at all of the suspension connecting points to look for loose or broken items. The change in direction is significant enough to have to make steering corrections both when apply throttle and releasing throttle.

Hello all, Today I tried paint remover. Mixed results… It did soften the red paint. Still a real pain to scrape it off. Still mostly impressed with the gator sanding wheel on the sidegrinder.

I have tried the heat gun. Stripping wheel does much better. The red paint appears to be urethane. It melts as it is being sanded.
